A great collection of instructive short games.

An exceptional collection of miniatures several of which I have used in teaching my juniors for years. It's nice to have them in algebraic and in one volume.

This book is very good at providing analysis for the positions for both parties. It is well written, easy to follow and def. entertaining. i would recommend this book.

The games are set out attractively. After the first few moves, the losing player usually finds himself in all sorts of difficulties. Some very unusual situations on the chessboard!

棋譜並べを勉強に取り入れたいと考えている方に最適な一冊です。53局の短手数の対局をもとに、オープニングの特徴やミドルゲームの考え方、エンドの収束の仕方が詰まった一冊です。局面図の数もかなり多いので、読みながらでも終えると思いますが、ボードとピースを使って並べたほうが感覚が見につきやすいです。解説も平易な英語表現のため、かなり読みやすいですね。
