Rich, Bold and Smooth
The coffee beans are a beautiful rich brown and the taste is strong and I feel like I'm drinking real coffee; not some colored water. I'll be buying this again....sometimes dark roasts are to bitter tasting for me, but this coffee is not bitter, rich and bold, but very smooth. This will be my second bag. We love the taste and truly enjoy a cup in the mornings to wake up!

Weird Chalky Taste
I would not purchase again, I freshly grind my coffee daily and this coffee in particular has a weird chalky taste.

Better than the best espresso in Paris!
Just brewed and drank my first cup of Connoisseur Coffee. What a way to start the day!! It is hands-down the BEST cup of coffee I've had in many years -- even better than espresso in Paris cafés. The flavor, smoothness, and richness surpass the best from gourmet coffee roasters I have tried. In the past, I have had to put up with bitter, burnt-tasing coffee because I prefer dark roast. Now that I've found Connoisseur Coffee, I no longer have to compromise!

It is rich, deliciously smooth and super bold...LOVE IT!
This coffee is exceptional!! I was looking for an organic whole bean coffee besides my regular go-to Starbucks/Peet's that I've been using for years. I've been on a quest for the past couple months looking for something with an even richer, more full bodied flavor and in my search I came upon Connoisseur Coffee...and just the yummy pictures of their whole beans enticed me to order some...and boy was I pleasantly surprised! I really feel I found what I was looking for in a coffee...it is rich, deliciously smooth and super bold...LOVE IT! I also love the packaging...reminds me of dark chocolate, very elegant. I'm so impressed I've decided to purchase this to put in all my holiday gift packages this year. Super coffee
Very pleased with this coffee! Super full-body taste with no bitterness or acidic taste. Much nicer than what I've been drinking (one of the big names through Costco). I ordered two bags, figuring I'd give one away as a gift, but now think I'll selfishly keep them both.

Pretty good for the Price
This coffee is definitely dark. It is stronger than most of the coffee that I drink. It smells bitter but tastes fine with a slight bitter after taste. I have not yet tried it in my coffee maker or espresso machine, because I normally do pour over. Like I said definitely a darker coffee that is very bold. It comes whole bean because who wouldn't want to grind their own coffee. My mother was confused because on the back it says "we import green beans and roast them...." She was confused for 2 seconds as to whether I had really purchased coffee. lol
