Yes it will remove ink or anything a toddler could markup on fabric. I love this product!!! It works wonderfully. I have used it to clean an entire couch!

Does it work on velvet

I don’t have any velvet material however I will tell you my story. Last April we purchase new bedroom carpets because we well selling our home and wanted the bedrooms to look good. One day I started to clean the windows in the bedroom and I didn’t realize I was using windex to clean the windows and I spilled the bottle of windex in the new carpet. The carpet had a huge area that was blue from the windex. I panicked and my Real State person told me about Oxy. Lowes in Massachusetts was carrying oxy. Purchase took it home and spray in the carpet all the blue came. I used a small white wash cloth. The carpet was soft and stain free I was very happy. Also had a sofa bed and the arms of the sofa were dirty from wear and tear. Used the oxy looks like a new sofa sold it for $100 dollars. I used it on my new place in Texas now. My sofas, computer chairs, etc. Give it a try good luck
