Rockaway Heavy Duty All-Weather Outdoor Rocking Chair Plastics - White

I love this chair! More than 25 years ago, my neighbor gave me one just like it. Before she gave it to me, it had already spent many years in her yard. After all this time out in the elements it is still doing beautifully. I’ve spent many mornings outside with a cup of coffee, gently rocking back and forth, enjoying the flowers and vegetables. I was delighted to find the same thing available here, so I bought another. Assembly is easy, and takes no tools. The parts easily slide together, or slide apart for a thorough scrubbing. But they won’t come apart unless I take them apart - - no risk of it disassembling on its own. The seat is nice and broad, which is perfect if the person sitting on it is not small. There’s never a fear that the chair will collapse under someone.

Fantastic rocking chair!!! Extremely sturdy- it’s not going to break!!! My son is autistic and has broken every rocking chair we’ve bought him. This one costs less AND is better quality than the ones we previously owned. My son is 6ft 4 and 261lbs- he roughly plops into this chair and it is SOLID. You won’t regret it!

Ive had mine a year now at least, its comfortable and drys quickly due to no cushion. Highly reccomend.

Very happy with the chair, however, it is a bit tricky to put together. Worth the effort and a nice accent to my patio.

Just got these. My husband is 6'5" and about 350 lbs. We needed something large enough and with a high weight capacity for the patio. Hard to find! These rockers stated they hold up to 600 lbs. He is much more comfortable in these. They seem to have a wider seat and are surprisingly comfortable with a high back. I will use seat cushions to spruce them up.I'd gave it a 5, because there were a few scratches as if by a straight blade maybe done while packing. We will keep them. Other than that, in very good shape and super easy to put together.I recommend them.9-20-24

I absolutely love these outdoor chairs. They are very sturdy and super easy to put together (make sure you have something to lube the tract with so it slides together easily).My mom has had these chairs for over 15 years and hers are going strong. I finally talked my husband into getting 2 of these for our house too. He sat in them and loved them. I was very surprised when he told me to order some for us :)Oh and to make things even better when I found out they are made in USA. I have high hopes that mine will last as long as my mom’s. I know these are a bit pricey it if you think of how much it cost to replace your chairs every year for $30 that adds up quick. Especially when you are buying 2 or more every year. Anyways we really love these chairs and will recommend to anyone looking for outdoor chairs.

The chair assembles in 5 minutes or less. For a person over 300 lb, the seat is both comfortable and reassuring, that it won't fail under a heavy load. I'm impressed with its durability, being weatherproof, and that it was easy to assemble. If you like sitting back and enjoying nature, I'd recommend this chair. Comfortable enough, and sturdy enough, to enjoy watching the seasons change Outdoors.

First off, I am very skeptical of ordering a chair off the internet that I have never sat in. After two months of trying to find one of these chairs to sit in before buying it, I finally caved in and ordered one. I am very glad that I did. I will try and break down this review into its pieces now.Assembly: I read many reviews stating that assembly was hard with this chair. It took me all of five minutes, and that was with reading the directions twice. A little WD-40 on the dovetail, and let gravity do the rest (letting the chair drop from about 10 inches off the ground onto the ground in the upright position a couple of times per side).Construction: While I just got this last weekend, it looks and feels like heavy plastic construction that should last for years. I have had my share of plastic chairs that bend/break over the years, and I do not see that happening with this chair.Comfort: First off, it is a hard plastic chair, so expecting it to be soft and plush is ridiculous. That being said, I am a long-legged 6'-2" 270 lbs. and have a Pillsbury dough-boy physique, and this chair is an incredibly comfortable rocker for me. The only slight modification I would make is to lengthen the seat bottom, but that is due to my extra long legs and I should add that it isn't uncomfortable. The back is high enough that I can lean my head back and rest it on the chair while rocking. It is even wide enough that I can sit my wide bottom on the seat while wearing my holster, and nothing rubs!Conclusion: If you are wondering about whether this chair is nice, well it definitely is. I am a natural born skeptic of everything, but I give this chair a 5 star rating for what it was designed for. A solidly built, all weather, comfortable rocking chair that larger people can comfortably fit in.
