Great product and superb customer service
The product is superb in terms of features and quality. It is very easy to set up and seems to be extremely accurate. The couple of problems I have had were resolved rapidly by the very responsive customer support team, including sending me a new temperature sensor.

Perfect home weather station for my Home Assistant
I bought this weather station because I wanted weather data to be fed to my Home Assistant setup, without relying on cloud services. It was simple to setup (though I had to buy the bracket and pole separately from local DIY store) when paired with the GW1100 wireless gateway.A few clicks in Home Assistant to add the Ecowitt integration and it was streaming data to my in house dashboard.Great value and it has a very solid construction. I have already recommended to friends.

GW2000 works with my old Waldbeck Halley station :)
The GW2000 can be connected to your router with an ethernet cable or over wi-fi. It's powered by a supplied USB cable as opposed to the GW1100 that has a USB fixed plug that you have to plug into a USB socket. However there is no USB power adapter included. I just feel the GW2000 gives more flexibility in use and set up over the GW1100.It has a temp & humidity sensor at the end of an attached cable.I already owned a Waldbeck Halley weatherstation which came with its own hub and a wireless temp & humidity sensor. All have worked really well for several years now but the wi-fi base station didn't have its own temp & humidity sensor and was limited to only being able to connect to the weatherstation and the one supplied wireless sensor.Having seen how the Ecowitt system has developed I decided to take a chance on the GW2000 when it was discounted to less than £42.This is because it can connect to multiple external sensors.I gambled that it would connect to my existing weatherstation (It uses 868 MHz) as I suspected it was made by Ecowitt and just branded by the German company Waldbeck Halley(WH) and it did!So now I can expand the system, I can have sensors in the garage, outbuildings, in the loft and I plan to have a water temp sensor in my pond. You can also add air quality and lightening sensors if you so wish.Instructions are clear with diagrams, screenshots and in English not Chinglish. Ecowitt are a Chinese company but seem to be doing so well they've made a real effort to make it as easy as possible for the end user. Please take note other companies who just seem to use a poor version of Google translate having an off day.Once you have connected the GW2000 to your home network through the app, the weatherstation and each sensor connect automatically.I can now use the updated Ecowitt and WSview plus apps which are much better than the original WSview. The new apps show current data from the main station and all the connected sensors but also graphs of data changes across a daily period, 24 hours, weekly, monthly, yearly, across 7 days or 30 days. It marks the lowest and highest data points for each sensor across the data period you choose and set alarms although I haven't tried that yet. It allows you to give custom names to each sensor, for example "garage".It also allows you to see the weather data from thousands of fellow Ecowitt weatherstation owners around the globe! (You can choose to make your data hidden). Not only is it fascinating to see that data but you can see weather approaching your area and also check how accurate your station is compared to your neighbouring ecowitt users. For example right now my station is recording 0°C outside while a user in Zambia is recording 33°C and my nearest fellow users are at 1 to 3°C but I'm about 70 meters higher in altitude than them.Overall a massive upgrade to my existing weatherstation and having the GW2000 means that when my original WH weatherstation gives up or gets damaged I only need to purchase a replacement Ecowitt weatherstation.I am left with the original WH/ecowitt base station and wireless sensor which will still work together but only with each other (unfortunately the WH wireless sensor has a fixed frequency and it seems that the GW2000 only connects to more recent versions where you can change the frequency of the wireless temp & humidity sensors via dip switches in the battery compartment) but I figure it's not worth the extra electricity cost using them when I can add more of the newer sensors and have them all displaying on the same screen.I can wholly recommend the Ecowitt system. It's well worth the extra money over cheaper alternatives.

Ecowitt GW-1100A Wireless Weather Station Gateway
Fantastic!I power ours from the unused USB socket on our router so it barely is even costing any extra power to use it!For now I only monitor indoors but it emails me if the temp or humidity in the chosen room exceeds a specified setting.Really incredible device!I will add an outdoor weather station this summer.Easy to install and use, the app is also really good.

I ADORE this ecosystem!
I’ve had a couple of integrated weather stations for a while, but never been totally happy with them. The first (brand forgotten in mists of time) had to be manually hooked up via USB to PC to view the data.More cecently, Bresser 7-in-1 has been a pain (very hard to get the solar cell measuring and communicating), plus the display panel could never display the particular measures I wanted all at same time.I’ve been wanting to add air quality (neighbours burn wood frequently, plus have frequent paper fires which cause me anaphalaxis), so every time I step out the door I don’t know if it’s going to be my last.Getting this was going to cost an absolute arms and a leg (I couldn’t afford) via Davis or whoever, so thought I’d give these guys a go (not expecting much to be honest at this price point).I ADORE it!I’ve messed around with a lot of tech in my time, but WOW this system is easy to use!Pairing is done automatically as soon as you switch stuff on (I had air quality in the app about 10 seconds after pulling the tabs out of the battery tabs).Alerts are incredibly easy to set up.It really does have EVERYTHING going for it.If you’re on the fence about this system - get off it! It’s an absolute whizz of a system.I’ve just gotten the soil temps gauge (when is it spud planting time?) and moisture meter (do the greenhouse strawberries need watered) for Christmas, and looking forward to getting them installed tomorrow - and more importantly not stressing about it as the communications harness is so slick.Absolutely BRILLIANT!!

EXCELLENT WIND SPEED & DIRECTION SENSOR
I have owned an Ecowitt WH40 Wireless Rain Gauge for a few years now and it has been extremely accurate, transmits a great strong signal and has been completely problem free, and I have been very impressed with it. I like the idea of separate sensors instead of an all in one type unit, because you get better accuracy, since you can place each one in the best spot for each type of sensor.I decided to try the above Ecowitt rain gauge, their WH32 wireless outdoor temp/humidity sensor and this Ecowitt WH68 wireless wind speed and direction sensor, together with their WN1980 console to view all of the data. It is all working perfectly and transmitting very accurate data and I couldn't be happier. The WH68 wind sensor is excellent. I own and have owned many weather stations including two different Davis stations, and I have to say that this wind sensor outperforms them all! I find it to be as accurate as the Davis, but it is more sensitive to peak wind gusts, plus the wind vane has a little better dampening on it and gives more stabile readings, and the transmitting signal is strong and dependable. And I just want to add that the Ecowitt temp/humidity sensor is more accurate than anything that I have owned for both the temperature and the humidity. I have verified that with calibration equipment. If these sensors hold up as well as their rain gauge has, and I fully expect that they will, then they are an incredible value and give you weather data that you can depend on. Also to note, I had some questions for them before I purchased everything, and their customer service/tech help is great. I highly recommend this wind gauge and all of the other sensors and console that I mentioned above. They are very accurate and ruggedly built to last in my opinion, and the pricing makes it possible to own a flexible, accurate, high quality weather station at a great price!

Quality Built Anemometer
The radio connection to the gateway was instant and reliable. Shortly after I put it up it handled 75 km/hr winds with no problem and was more accurately than my previous anemometer. I like that it uses only one AA battery. It also has the look of a professional instrument.
