Big fat Indian wedding!
This is book #5 of the series 'Marriages made in India'. As is clear from the title of this series, the main focus of the author in this book or all other books of this series is to portray how marriages happen in India. The story gives joint family vibes and compels the readers to think about the importance of marriages in the Indian society. How an Indian girl yearns for someone who will respect her, marry her and be her man.The story is setup in India. The main places that have been frequently mentioned in the story are Jaipur, Mumbai and Delhi as those are the places where the protagonists or their families live and work. This is the second book of the author which I have picked. I am highly impressed by the way she sets up the mood and presents vivid imagery of hot romance. She has attempted to present the Indian culture in modern times and her attempt is quite successful. I loved the way the character development of Bharat takes place in the story. Highly recommended to all.

Expected
Ratings: 4 out of 5The story Casanova's wife as the title suggests is a story about Casanova Bharat who is a top notch model falls in love with Dia a management trainee.I had read the 6th part of the book and due to which I knew how the story ends. But that doesn't change the fact of a beautiful narration, witty sense of humor, or the steamy romance between Bharat and Dia. All this expected from Sundari Venkatraman's book and it delivered in the story.Just like Suraj Bharjatia is famous for family movie, the same is captured by the author in this series. Each story connected, yet different. And I believe that is the USP of the book. Most entertaining part of the book will be Bharat assuming Dia dumping him, the way they meet, and Dia's cooking. As an avid reader, I expected more to happen which it doesn't, hence a reduction of a star.Overall the book takes you for a romantic ride.

A good one time read!
The book is actually a part of the novella series, Marriages made in India . This can be read as a stand alone novel also.Theme: The story follows the life of Bharat and Dia, who bump into each other and spend a night together. They start a relationship but Dia leaves in the middle without any word. Later, when they accidentally meet each other, old feelings come back and along with them new problems. Will Bharat and Dia unite? Will the past repeat itself?Narration: The book had many erotic scenes and all of them were written well. Bharat's characterization from a playboy to a perfect lover seemed completely unbelievable. Dia's characterization was good. The book could have given even more space for supporting characters as the plot felt monotanous in many points. On the whole, a good one time read!

A story of what happens when two worlds collide
Written in third person POV, The Casanova’s Wife by Sundari Venkatraman revolves around what happens when two people from completely different social circles and ideologies clash.Super Model Bharat Maheshwari, our male main protagonist is a self proclaimed Playboy who doesn't do relationships. On the other hand, we have Dia Mathur, inexperienced and a believer of relationships. The plot is the basis of what happens when these two distinct personalities, who are like Fire and Ice, poles apart from each other, meet and get to know, be acquainted with another. Which of the one from this couple will bow and who will change their true self to accommodate the other remains the question. While this is a classic romance book, it can also be categorised under Second-Chance sub genre. The couple meet for one night and then are separated for two long years. Though their first encounter was brief, they both seem to have left a great impact on each other. My Thoughts on Hero:Usually, if we look at Casanovas, they are supposed to be these people with philandering characteristics, who jump from one conquest to another. But, Bharat was quite the exception, it seems, as after spending just one night with Dia, he had irrevocably fallen in love with her. He was not super alpha, but I liked the way he took charge when required. My Thoughts of Heroine:Dia had a good head on her shoulders and at time, she did come out a bit immature, but mostly she was strong and confident. The way with which she carried herself, and didn't let Bharat's glamorous life take over her was commendable. My Final Thoughts on the Book:The author has done a good job of bringing us the story of Bharat and Dia. This book had quite a lot of my favorite plot points, including some drama, which made it quite an interesting read for me. While I haven't read the other books in this series yet, I am definitely intrigued and will be reading them soon. I'm going to give this Book FIVE CASANOVA STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Who brought the Casanova to his knees? ;-)
This specimen of a man named Bharat Maheshwari is everything bottled into one package. The Casanova, the go getter, the lean and mean; in demand model, the rake eager to find his next conquest. (Phew…. Why are these Maheshwari’s always the reason for the soaring temperature? Too hot to handle.)What happens when such a person finds himself so stirred by a rendezvous with this naïve women so innocent, so untouched and who slips right through his fingers? I don’t want to spoil the fun created by Sundari Venkatraman. Guys! Looking for a steamy romance ‘PICK UP THE BOOK’.Is it possible to get a long lost brother to senior Maheshwari and his next gen’s story? (Pouting with a pleading puppy eyes…pretty please!!!)For more detailed review please check BookReviews by Reshma Ranjan.
