The Mainstay: A Commentary on Qasida Al-Burda

A beautifully presented book. I feel the commentary of the author still lacks some authenticity in its content. There's just not enough insight into the verses. Some take paragraphs to simply reiterate the words in lengthly form which is disheartening as I was hoping for some real background and insight into each couplet. Other really important verses are left without much said and random tangents aree used as fillers. Great work by the translator and publishers, keep it up!
