Barely works
Not good. Doesn't come with extra washers to correct the spool and it really needs it. Bad at casting. Always tries to tangle up.

Do not use in salt water.
First impression? Great! Smooth reeling, nice finish and solid build. Rigged it up with 14lb Fireline Crystal and took it to the shore. The ad says "salt and freshwater". This reel was replacing a vintage Outcast spinner that still works amazing after years and years of perch fishing in small surf.This reel was smooth casting with a 1/2oz chrome castmaster lure. Had a great first session with it. Reel never touched the salt water except for whatever water came off the line while reeling in.After the few hour session it was washed clean with fresh water and dried.Two days later, the reel is frozen solid. I will try to take it apart and lube but either way, the hardware is already rusting and likely the bearings are shot.The price was right but in comparison to my other poles with lower end Penn reels, there is just no comparison for durability.
