10" x 17" African Kangaba Djembe

Kangaba are very high quality with a great sound. As an elementary school music educator who often teaches multicultural music, I have used about 80 Kangaba drums with hundreds of students at the various schools in my district. Though each drum is individually hand crafted, the quality standards are very high. Every drum our district owns has a great sound. These drums are pretty small, but they have a surprisingly resonant bass sound as well as producing a good tone and slap. I appreciate that the drums arrived fully tuned and ready to play, but also include plenty of extra rope attached for future tightening of the drum head. A great choice if you are looking for an authentic, hand-made, rope-tuned djembe for a child.
