Fantastic deal
Prettiest book I've ever held in my hand. Been meaning to read Oscar Wilde since a long time. getting a hardcover book at 300/- was a FANTASTIC deal !! Fee dents here and there but apart from that, everything looks great ❤️

A perfect book for anyone who wants to read Oscar Wilde.
I was in this book only to read one play by Oscar Wilde which was suggested to me by my friend but I thought why not read it all when I have started it and I kept on reading, annotating, sharing the wonderful quotes which were blowing up my mind throughout the read!

worth reading
The thoughts of Oscar Wilde are still revelant in today’s day and age. A must read for lovers of classical literature.

Oh only if sir Oscar Wilde was still alive to write such witty stories again !

Worth every penny!
Although the packaging quality was way too poor, miraculously the product was delivered undamaged. The quality of the binding and pages are too good. A great one to add to your collection.

Packaging of books need to be improved.
I have no complaints regarding the quality of the books. But I got this book with a damage on cover. Amazon should deliver books with little care. For that, packaging should have improved. Only a Paper cover doesn't protect damages.

Nice book but always read the description before buying!
I have learned (after buying many books from Amazon and getting something other than expected in terms of quality quite a few times) that you really need to look at all of the details including the page count, publisher info, size description. I have mistakenly purchased horrible 8 1/2" x 11", horribly formatted copies of Independently published books of classics that are in the public domain. I scroll down to look at the publisher first thing now. Buyers will save themselves a lot of trouble by doing so. I saw this was by the publisher Fingerprint. I have purchased Fingerprint editions before so I already knew what this hardback was going to be as far a quality. They publish decent quality books that look nice and are priced reasonably. My only problem with this listing is that it did not indicate what was included in this book. However, it does say Greatest Works not Complete Works. I have not read it yet, so I can't comment on typos that someone else's review had mentioned, but overall, this is a nice book containing 2 of Oscar Wilde's most well known works, The Importance of Being Earnest and The Picture of Dorian Gray, I like these FIngerprint editions and am happy to have a nice looking and inexpensive option in hardback.

Looks fantastic
The book looks amazing and exactly like the picture. Super excited to read it. The only thing is that the pages are a bit transparent but it's actually fine i think (it looks amazing either way).

Good book
Two great classics. Cannot argue with the stories, but might have added another story to it, given the claim is 'Greatest Works ...' and the plural is used. Seemed like Dorian Gray was the main focus, and a second, shorter, story was added to give validity to the title

Nice edition yet a far cry from Deluxe!
On the shelf, this book may look quite nice but at closer inspection this edition is anything but deluxe and surely overpriced. At almost 18 pounds (not including delivery and customs) I was expecting nothing less than the average Barnes & Collins classic hardbacks. Alas, paper is cheap, printing on one page of a leaf is evident on the other page, the hard binding is made of carton boards of which their corners are easily bent/bumped. The title says Greatest Works of Oscar Wilde which is deceiving as only 2 of the author's classics are included (true, the description in the advertisement mentions this).Overall, a total disappointment.
