I purchased a fabulous wool felt coat with massive amounts of gold embroidered roses on the hems and shall collar. Guess I should have looked closer but the description never said ... “all funky unfinished shaggy frayed edges - for peeps that think this is a good thang” ... so I went in search of something that could cover these frayed edges. I finished the whole project in about 2 hours and am very happy with the results. A beautiful, warm, dressy coat that I get loads of compliments on! Review: The ribbon is actually a pretty good quality - I use this to make and sell custom embroidered headbands. I use braided elastic to hold the ends together. The ribbon is actually a pretty good quality! It does the job of preventing the headband from slipping. I've already bought an additional two rolls!

The ribbon is actually a pretty good quality
I use this to make and sell custom embroidered headbands. I use braided elastic to hold the ends together. The ribbon is actually a pretty good quality! It does the job of preventing the headband from slipping. I've already bought an additional two rolls!

Soft and elegant ribbon
The ribbon is soft and very rich looking. I used it for ties on little girls fancy dresses. The reason for the 4 stars is after about 1 yd spooled off the yardage was taped together. The spool is suppose to be 25 continuous yards. I've used about 6 more yards and no more taping so far, but there should be a disclaimer if it's not continuous. It worked out fine for how I was using the product but it might not for someone else. I would still purchase the product as it is beautiful ribbon and not stiff like some velvet and very easy to sew.
