Excellent cooperative game with historical elements
We really enjoy playing this game and like the historic elements of it. It’s definitely a challenging game to win, but really satisfying when you do. Really enjoy that it’s a cooperative game too and it’s not a “one and done” game - you can play again. Full game usually takes a couple of hours to play. Does take some time to learn up front. There’s some good YouTube videos online. I think the one I watched was 20-30 mins, but then I understood it and just used to written instructions to confirm when needed. If you’re getting ready to play it or including others, it might be worth sending them a video in advance so you don’t spend a ton of time reading instructions when you get together. Excellent game all around though.

Elegant, well done game on an interesting and well-portrayed theme
This is a brilliant game. The subject matter is very interesting, especially (though not exclusively) for those of us who are history buffs, and is treated very well ... lots of historical detail, with respectful but straightforward treatment of the horrors involved -- a great educational tool. It's also a very well done package from a graphic design standpoint; everything from the board to the cards to the rules booklet is beautiful, elegant, and perfectly suited to the theme. But equally important, this is a very elegant game to play. The mechanisms are simple and easy to master, but allowing lots of room for strategizing and variability. The rules are printed right on the game board, and there's a simple cheat sheet for extra detail, with the result that we don't have to spend any game time looking through the rules booklet (though there is a nicely done rules booklet as well). Yes, there are dice at the center of the game, so it's got a big luck element, so if you hate luck in your games you probably won't go for this one ... but as someone else pointed out, that's pretty much what it was like for the real people fighting against Hitler; everything often turns on a bit of good or bad luck. And the push-your-luck mechanism of choosing when to roll the dice (it's called "conspiring" in the game, and you can do it a lot or a little, your choice), along with the various mitigations you can apply (cards that offer re-rolls or allow ignoring of one or more bad results and so on) really just add to the strategizing as you play.Whenever we sit down to play this one, we will be playing it multiple times in a row. And we love taking a picture of the board if we win, with the lovely "We Killed Hitler" victory card on display.

Fantastic game - Very thought provoking and replayable.
Let me start this off and say that this is the first board game I have purchased. The game is a very intriguing concept and interested me from the start. The game pieces are very detailed (both physically and with how it is set up) and grounded. The initial game is slow as it takes awhile to figure out how to play (even with How To videos found on the Internet) but once you get the hang of it, it is very fun. First time I played, I was playing with my father and we attempted to kill Hitler 8 times. All 8 times were failed attempts so we threw in the towel because we were at 2+ hours of playing (granted, it was our first game but I digress). The second time was a lot more streamlined and successfully killed him with Poison Gas. The game mechanics are ever evolving and players must "beat the clock" as in each stage is surrounding/leading up to a major WWII event so players need to kill Hitler before Round 7 which is the end of the war. Overall, this is a fantastic game and worth the purchase.

Lots of RNG - But that's why I love it!
An awesome board game, pretty similar to Eldritch Horror in a way : collect items on a big map, take actions every turn, teamwork to defeat a great evil...The only thing is: control freak players that love euro board games, like Agricola, will get triggered by the randomness aspect of the game. You'll need some sort of therapy sessions for them.
