After using plastic and paper based disposable products for a long time, we (me and my wife) wanted to give a try with bio-based products. In fact, we were about to buy bamboo/wood made plates when I noticed this item - plates made from fallen leaves. We thought, which can be a better move than to buy a product that does not cause any harm to the environment at all. It actually helps the environment since it is compostable and bio-degradable.Of course, there were other brands like this particular one, but we were motivated by the great advertisement from the seller. And people like us who care about the presentation/style of the product packaging, the appearance of this brand along with the name was just the right one.When we got this delivered, my wife loved the item instantly since it was just like the picture at the Amazon. Finally, we got a chance to use them and trust us, we couldn't be more satisfied. This product is very sturdy unlike the paper and plastic ones; the textures are all natural and not to mention, way more attractive than it seems. We are going to use them for the up-coming Holiday dinner parties. We hope that our guests would love them as well.Price might bother you a bit because of its higher price than plastic and paper plates. But, think about it that you are using all natural and environment-friendly products. In some way, you are helping the planet at the end of the day.Note: Bamboo/wood made plates are also in the similar price-range but you can never call them entirely Eco-friendly.We surely recommend this product.

We recently moved to a new city and ordered these plates for a change from the usual disposable paper or styrofoam dinnerware. Although we are not too picky about recycling (instead to putting everything into trash), energy saving and 'going green' all the way, these seemed to me like green alternative to kitchenware! And we were not disappointed at all. Absolutely love the rustic look and feel of the plates. Adds great aesthetic value to the kitchen and dining table. Apart from that, the plates were very sturdy. Earlier when we used paper/styrofoam plates, many of our guests used to grab 2-3 plates so that the plate won't bend and they don't spill food all over your body and the floor! You cannot help noticing that the manufacturer pay great attention to detail while designing and making these plates. The look, feel, shape and size are amazing. Hosted a party of about 15 people and they were pleasantly surprised about the dinnerware. And you won't have to dispose them all after single use, if you serve dry food, salad or some snacks/fruit, they can be used multiple times too, which compensates to the value. And unlike styrofoam/plastic, you can also put them into microwave, which is another great reason to buy them! This will be your greatest add-on to your kitchen for the upcoming holiday season!

I bought these plates on the recommendation of a friend. And I was thoroughly impressed. Aside from being nature friendly and aesthetically pleasing these plates are also sturdy and very nicely shaped. I bought the plates to try them out as appetizer plates for a party but you can also very easily use these as small dinner plates. And that's what I plan to do - use the rest as dinner plates for the next gathering at my home.Pros: Sturdy, evenly sized, durable, aesthetically very pleasingCons: Pricier than paper plates, but with its eco-friendliness and aesthetic value, worth it.I would highly recommend buying these if you like to present food at your party on something unique and elegant. There are also a variety of other sizes that you could try out if 8" is too big/small for the portion you have in mind.

Got these plates for a get together at my place last weekend. My dishes looked super yummy in these palm leaf plates. As in the photos, all the plates have beautiful texture and are well shaped. They are clean and ready to be used right out of the package. All natural, strong, biodegradable plates with no chemical make these unique. Figured out after purchasing that you can heat food in these plates too as they are microwave save. They are really cute and became the center of attention in my party. Still have quite a few left as I had only nine friends over. Thinking of ordering dinner plates to go with these on Thanksgiving.

Loved these plates as an alternative to traditional plastic. I used them for dessert plates at a party, and they held up well and added a little class. Very sturdy and attractive!

We've ordered these plates twice for a home wedding receptions. They're sturdy and hold up, even when you're standing to eat. They look nice too. I wouldn't recommend the bamboo silverware that go with these plates because they're too hard to use, but these plates are fine.

I purchased these plates for craft purposes, and worked great for food purposes as well. Had hundreds of wine corks to use so I made wine cork trivets. The top is the 8 in plate, the bottom the 7 inch plate. I used wood glue and glued 2 plates together for added strength. Some of the plates were a little wonky so I had to play around with some to ensure the 2 plates fit snugly. Allow to dry overnight and fill in any cracks in the glue along the edge of the plate. I then sanded the edges smooth with 150 grit paper. The corks were glued with wood glue as well. Worked out great and didn't have to build wooden frames for them. Wonderful Covid project!!!

I opened the box and one of the plates is chipped. I have to say, the plates look really nice. I bought two packs sadly im going to have to send one back.

Great quality, beautiful natural look, so sturdy, decorates the garden party table, unlike any other disposable "crockery" one would normally get. When mixed with different colours and garden themed table, they look fantastic (see photo).
