Hello Bob Thank you very much for your question. The width of this orange flexible plastic tool is 0.45in, so the gap width of your stopper needs to be greater than 0.45in before it can be used. If it is smaller than this size, it is recommended that you remove the stopper and use it again. It will have a very good effect. wish you happy forever!

Hows it do on toilets

It is for small drains (sinks and bathtubs). It grabs hair and clears it from drain as you pull it out. It is not for toilets.

How do you assemble it?

There’s nothing to assemble. I thought there was two. Orange plastic things are not reusable and it is amazing how well they work. The metal thing is just a separate one so there’s nothing to assemble. Just thread that weren’t one down as far as you can in your drain and put it around in circles and pull out quickly you’re gonna wanna throw the orange one away then and use another one, if you say still need to.

Amazing thing to unclog your sink

Guys, this is BEST THING I HAVE EVER BOUGHT ON AMAZON!!! Less than one month passed since the last visit of the plumber and again there was a huge clog in my daughter’s bathroom. I was so upset as I didn’t want to pay aed 250 again. I started searching some tools on Amazon and found this one. I was expecting to find some hair, plant leaves (as my daughter was watering her plants in the sink), but I was so surprised to get a small toy out of her sink! The water from the sink immediately drained and there is no more blockage in the sink. I would definitely recommend this thing to all my friends. So cheap and so so sooo useful!!!

For basic shallow sink/washbasin clogs only

If you are looking to unclog your sink drain from the drain itself to the pipe below the sink, maybe up to the p-trap, if you have one, that is about as far as these reach. If you're looking to unclog a floor / shower drain that is likely much deeper/longer, these are too small and will not work.
