RenGard 18W Ultra-efficient Solar Panel Phone Battery Charger for Smartphones & Tablets:Android (Grey)

I ordered thinking it had two food probes. It only had one and a grill/bbq smoker/oven heat probe. Not end of the world. The food probe worked well. The temp on it matched my digital weber stick. The grill/bbq smoker/oven heat probe was off the chart. I have a Treager pellet grill with a digital thermostat with heat probe in the grill. And a new thermometer in the lid as well. Both at 225 are almost the same temp. The heat probe on this unit when the grill was 225 showed 300 degrees plus. I took another thermometer that you can use in an oven like with turkeys and placed in grill and it read same as the Digital thermometer on the pellet Grill and the thermometer in the lid of the grill. Therefore meaning the Rengard was way off the mark. This was my reason for the return. Two stars cause the meat probe worked fine and the heat probe was way off the mark.

I have had this for over 8 months and have had no issues. Works great for when I smoke meats, can make sure that my BBQ temp stays correct without hovering over the wood smoker all day. I have only tried to use this unit up to about 50 feet from the smoker so can't really say how far it will work.

Used it once so far and it makes slow and low cooks so much easier.

Worked great in my smoker. Received temperatures while sitting in my living room. Definitely recommend item
