Love the size and finish, but it's poorly packed and arrived with cracks in the head.Rather than send it back and wait for another, I just patched it up... it looks fine, but they really should pack it better.

I have a large backyard and one section is fenced-off with a small pond and gazebo. I have yard art all over the place and have really just wanted it to be a fun sanctuary. This big turtle has found a new home in our garden. My 2 year grandson loves it! Sits on it! And always comments on it. It is sturdy, heavy enough that it won't blow over, but light enough that it can be moved around the yard, and you will. It is so odd, that it's fun. You will move it several times until you find that "right place", but once you do,…it will become part of your family. Enjoy!!

He does not however look like the seller’s photo of the turtle. For one, he has a flat back that can be used as a stool or patio table. My grandchildren love to sit on him. He is actually quite a bit more attractive than the turtle in the photo. Nice shape. Excellent paint finish.The turtle I received deserves 5 stars. I took one star off however because the turtle I received was not what was sold and ordered. In this case it worked out fine. However, ...When I ordered him, I had a spot picked out in the garden where I knew he would be perfect.He arrived on a day with high winds and thunderstorms with more bad weather forecast for the next several days. So, I set him in the den until it was safe to go outside.When I tried to take him outside, both my grandchildren cried. They thought it was mean to toss him out in the cold and rain. So, I guess he will be residing in the den for the winter.He is light enough in weight that he can easily be picked up and carried around. My grandchildren love to use him to stand on to reach the sink to wash their hands.Hopefully, by spring he can migrate out to the garden. I do not know. My grandchildren are quite enchanted with him right where he is.
