Real neon sign with glass tubes. Sign was packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. Mounted on a clear acrylic panel with 2 holes as well as 2 loops for mounting and includes a chain for hanging. Sign has an on/off switch and glows evenly and fairly bright but not overly bright.The color is sort of a purple-pink, and looks nice. The sign is easy to read and casts a nice ambient glow in the room if it's the only light on. I have had the sign on for over 12 hours straight and it's not getting hot or flickering at all, it seems to be good quality and I really like how it looks in my gaming room.

Awesome neon sign! Cord has a switch so I can be turned on and off without unplugging it. The light is nice and bright for a small piece.The only thing I don’t like is all the boxes and pieces around the words, it’s kind of distracting. But still super awesome!

I enjoy the warm glow of real neon lighting so I ordered the Desol "Let's Get Weird" neon sign in purple since I already had another Desol lamp in the peach color. While the lamp is well made and exceptionally well packaged, its not purple.In order to take a good photo of the neon lamp when its turned on, you need to turn down the exposure which blocks out the vast majority of the white light the lamp emits, giving you a photograph that appears purple.The reality is far from it - the color is a washed out, drug store-esq, cold, harsh, off white and cold toned neon lamp that flickers. This is the opposite of the ambience I was hoping for when I ordered the lamp.I really wanted to love it, but the harsh light was more than I could handle.
