Good measure. 3 stopping buttons
The media could not be loaded. I don't know why the reviews are so bad, I like this tape measure. It's got clear writing and a goof thickness so doesn't bend that easily when measuring. 3m is what I ordered, that's what arrived.3 ways to stop the tape, the normal slide button on top, a side push button and one on the bottom. The hand loop is tiny, wouldn't fit anyone's hand over the age of 6 and the belt clip is tiny too.Other than those 2 things I think it's great. No price at time of review.

Not the best
I don't know why the advertising page say's 7.5m, its only 3m. The metal tape is very thin and doesn't hold itself if extended for more than a couple of meters. The tab on the end is riveted very loosely, so the part that folds over stands proud. Given how thin it is this means that it acts like a blunt blade, so when you release the tape hold and the tape retracts at speed, it presents a danger.Given that the tape comes into the body where the thumb might be after pressing against the release button, that means that the end piece can stab the end of the thumb if you're not careful. use caution when retracting the tape.

Sturdy and just great measuring tape
Very good rolling measuring tape. It's made well, strong, rubber layer and enforced corners.Strong lace to carry it easier and not to lose it.Very easy to read, easy to use, after about an year now IT'S still working very well, no problems with anything.Has got two different buttons to block the tape.Very accurate. The other day it really saved me from troubles as I was using a laser measuring one and that one was wrong. This one is a very good tool, recommended.

Printed tape has a few small dings at edges, small and impractical belt clip and wrist loop
With other brands' offerings in mind, expectations were for the measure not to be quite as wide or as heavy as it is.The "Convy Measuring Tape with Metric and Imperial Scale, Dual-Side Metal Blade, 10 m" has most of the features (not necessarily well-implemented) any user would expect including a lock to prevent the tape being retracted when its use needs to be continued in the immediate term, metric and Imperial measures in 1 mm and 1/16th-inch steps. The printing initially appeared to be to a good quality although there are a few isolated small chips along the edges later found that may grow over time and affect its ease of use and probably accuracy. It has a belt clip that is small relative to the measure's width and a plastic wrist loop that no workman would ever be able to use; it is barely large enough for a child and may be replaced at a later date by something of an appropriate size!In addition to the expected scales, this has regularly-spaced, unexplained and unlabelled markings at circa 19-7/32-inches/48.85 mm that may equate to an unknown Chinese measure of length. There is also a large orange button on the side opposite that of the belt clip with no obvious action or function and another in black underneath and adjacent to the lip where the tape exits; again neither is labelled and there is no leaflet to explain their existence. The tape is a full 25mm wide, the casing supposedly zinc with a covering said to be 'rubber' but lacks the odour and is probably PU or another fairly hard plastic. The measure is currently usable but the small belt clip and wrist loop are a real limitation to its transportability. It is to partner an existing 5m measure for those tasks where the shorter length is inadequate and could, in combination, extend reach to a combined 15m!Unfortunately, not as well thought-out as it should be!

Quite heavy but does the job
I have to admit when it comes to measures and weights I prefer using the imperial measurements of inches and pounds etc, but for accuracy I usually measure things in centimetres, so I was glad to see that this measuring tape has both inches and feet, as well as centimetres and metresThe tape measure goes up to 10 metres or 33 feet, which is pretty good, I found both measurements are easy to read on the tape, and the point where you get to the foot or metre is clearly markedThe tape measure has three kinds of breaking, sliding down the black button will lock it, and you can also press the orange button or the black button underneath. It has a carry strap and also a clip at the back. Mine is mostly used for when I need to measure something in the house or garden so I'll not use them, but they're handy to haveThere's no price as its currently unavailable, but on functionality alone I'm happy to recommend
