Loved this so much got another one this year, although 2nd had not so much snow round it, but still looks good

Bought This Old Festive Gas Lamp Back In 2019, And Im Pleased To Be Able To Say, It's Still Working Grand!! I NEVER Knew That It Had A Timer, But Can Confirm That It Indeed Does!! As You Can See From My Photo's, I've Actually Added A Few More Little Touches To It, ie: Some Fake Ivy,Some Silver Berrys/Acorns (Purchased From Amazon) And Some Small Glass Icicles, That I Already Owned!! Just To Make It More Special And Personal To Me!! It's Just A Pity, That The Item Is'nt Better Made/Finished Properly ie: The Wood Varnished/Coloured, And A Little More Attention To Detail!! But Overall It's A Beautiful Item To Have In Your Home, And On Display None The Less!!!

It's cheaply put together but suppose that is OK for the price. However it advertises clearly on the box 'Timer 6 hours ON/18 hours off'. There is NO timer! NO switch on battery box as mentioned in questions! Battery box is a very cheap plastic affair. It is going to be a complete faff turning it on and off. I have 2 which I will be returning. No doubt they will try to pass them off to some other poor mug!

Initially pleased until I switched it on. The wiring in the battery box look very crude and unable to switch it to timed. There is only an on/off switch. I wouldn’t have minded but the light flickers giving the impression it is going to go out, very annoying. I am considering returning it.

I must admit to being a little disappointed when I opened the box as the lamp is rather more rough and ready than I expected. However, it works well both in timing mode and just on and off. A little varnish on the wood would have given a better finish.
