I love the way theses pencils color
I love the way theses pencils color. The color lays down nicely. The storage tin is a plus. It makes it easier to keep the pencils in order. There are no color names or numbers on the pencils. If you make color chart and keep them in order, that's a good work around for this issue. They are a harder pencil than Prismacolors so don't expect a creamy laydown when coloring. They blend well considering their hardness. The price was fantastic - much, much, much less than the Prismacolors.

ripped off!
I have no problem with the packaging. The tin box is okay but a little large. They should use three trays not two.The pencils are all intact with no broken leads or pencils. Each is in its niche in the two inserts. This is the good part.On the down side, there are no markings or color names/numbers on the pencils. This would be helpful because although I got 72 pencils I did NOT get 72 different colors. I got about 60 different colors. Especially the browns are duplicate colors. I got five pencils that are the same shade of brown and several sets of two that are the same. Upset.Other than many duplicates they are decent pencils. Easy to use and sharpen.

Great pencils... but I got scammed
I am extremely disappointed! I was very excited to receive this set of 72 pencils, but when it arrived, like many customers', they were spilled all over out of their flimsy tin box. And what was worse was that I only received exactly 49 pencils!!!! I paided the full price for 72 pencils, but when I counted them, I only counted 49! Where are the rest of my pencils?

Arrival condition aside...this is a GREAT set of pencils.
Like a lot of people here, I received my pencils in record time, opened, with broken leads and a few pencils that continued to break with each turn of the sharpener. I think the company would do well to spend a penny or two to place a small piece of tape on the tin container (which, contrary to some reviews, I do not think the tin is any cheaper than any other pencil set) and another small piece of tape on the plastic bag the container is shipped in and they might save themselves from all the negative comments about the condition of arrival and damage to the pencils. That said, the pencils, in my opinion, are well worth every penny you pay for them. I am an amateur at adult coloring but I have purchased several sets of different brands and I prefer this set to any I currently own. I like the Prismacolor sets I own but I find this set to be richer, smoother and a lot easier to blend. I love this set of pencils and hope the company will do something to change the condition of the set during shipping do that ALL the pencils arrive in good condition. I give this set 4 stars because of the condition upon arrival. The only drawback I can find with this set of pencils is that there is no name or number system to differentiate one color from the other, however; if you can live with that and you get lucky enough to receive your pencils still in their container, you may find this, as I do, to be one of your favorite sets. I'm in love!

Nice product ruined by cheap packaging
I'm sad I can't offer a better rating. The plastic wrap on the tin was very flimsy and it split open during shipping, The tin opened and every pencil was out of the tin and they were rattling around in the shipping box. Many pencils had broken tips. Upon sharpening some I found the leads to be broken within the pencil as the sharpened tip would fall right out. I was disappointed as the pencils I tried coloring with to test them out colored very smooth and are were very vivid and rich. Only downside to the product itself was not having any form of identification on each pencil (number, name, etc) to be able to tell colors apart as some look very similar until you color with them. Also it would have been nice if they weren't round as they tend to slip and roll around a bit but that's not as big an issue to me. In all, had there not been the packaging issues, the product would have been deserving of a much higher score.

These are AWESOME PENCILS!!!
I have every brand from Raffines to Prismas to FC Polys to Carans to Holbeins and Renoirs, and these are AWESOME! They lay down smoothly, blend like butter and no wax bloom as Prismas do! I wish these came in a bigger set! I loooooove these pencils! Great quality for the price! I'm buying another set, I love them so much! PLEASE make a bigger set!!

Nice set of 72 pencils
I am so disappointed. I received this set in a big box and my pencils got loose because the casr opened. Many broken points. Horrible experience. I used birthday money too. **update I changed my review because the pencils that were broken sharpened very well. Now I have some shorter pencils. Also they are smooth and bright. I wish they were wrapped in plastic so they didn't open.2nd update-this company sent me another set because my first set arrived open. Top notch customer service! The pencils work great! Smooth and vibrant! No color or number marking but the tops color matches the wax. I am very satisfied!

Disappointed. I really tried though.
I really wanted to love these pencils. I really tried. For 2 months. I hate the tin box it came in as I found a few pencils tips broken off (gotta be careful not to knock the case around). It is advertised to have no duplicates and it does look that way but it only goes so far as not duplicating the painted tops and the pigments of the tips because the colors when laid on paper are very much like duplicates. Basically, the lead doesn't match the tops. Color lays down pretty bad too. Like a hard core pencil that you can't quite blend with. You can't even put color down smoothly; uneven deposits everywhere. Disappointed that there was nothing to love in this set. I miss my Ohuhu set a good bit.I did color with my 6-year-old on the cupcake so some parts of the photos are here, some are mine. The butterfly was my last straw with the pencils so I was kind of out of it. I used 71 in the butterfly picture (did not use white). Can you see all 71 hues? Not me.
