Broken video cable
Worked perfectly with my Chevy suburban and Samsung devices. Until I removed the yellow RCA cable. The center pin sleeting had had come off and remained in the female section on the truck. After this there was clearly no video signal. Can't recommend it

Works great for SUV entertainment
Used for rear entertainment for a 2012 gmc yukon denali works great plays videos unto front and rear screens. Just gotta go into settings for rear screen. A little louder then the aux great product, simple and easy to use. Doesn't charge phone noor does it help maintain battery life so it's a close call.

Gets warm
It works great for viewing video from newer iPad. 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan with double screens. RCA ports and usb port in middle seat. The small box part gets really warm bordering on hot to touch. Will have to keep an eye on that as we use it.

Works for outputting video/audio from PC to television
I bought this to output video and audio from my laptop's Thunderbolt (USB-C) port to an old CRT's composite input. It works very well; you can use it just as if you had plugged in a monitor.I suspect that many of the users that couldn't make the cable work had one of two issues:* First, the pictured USB-A is *required* to power the device. You don't have to plug it into the device you are outputting AV from, but you need to plug it into something. It is not an alternative AV input. The AV only goes through the USB-C.* Second, this cable can't pull AV from something that doesn't produce AV. If you are using this with a phone, please use Google to make sure your phone can output AV via USB-C.The only issues I have are that the adapter gets hot very quickly, and that Windows can be finicky about outputting 4:3 without adding black bars because it seems to assume the cable wants a widescreen input. I was able to make it work after fiddling with the display settings, though.

Works with our car entertainment!
With Redbox being few and far between, we needed an alternative to renting DVDs during road trips. This cable allows my daughter to watch live or downloaded videos from her iPhone without draining the battery. Only thing is the “transformer” gets hot when she’s watching something for a while.

No sound
It works for charging, but when I connect the audio for my phone, there's nothing. Checked the settings on my phone, tried every option, still nothing. The instructions make it sound like it's for iPhones, but the description here said it also works on Android. Packaging got ripped up when I opened it, so I doubt I can return it.
