They withstood my ar15 at 100+ yards, I once shot at 50-75 yards and it did put dents in the steel. Do not shoot too close and you’re good. Anything over a 300 you’ll want to be 200+ yards away.

Product is nicer than expected - read several reviews of others, griping about cut / finish out quality. These folks (Magnum Target) did a top notch job!Nicely painted and when they had a shipping delay, the seller was prompt to alert me and take the blame that they had an equipment issue that set them behind production.Surprisingly, they shipped in a small padded envelope - which throws USPS for a loop since they expect it to be lighter than it is... made me laugh :-)

I am reluctant to give this target 5 stars. Here's why. I have over 100 rouds of full metal jacket .308 at 100 yds and just chips the paint off. I have a full 30 round mag of .223 soft point at 100yds on this plate. .223 is eating this plate up.Ither plates I have from another manufacturer show absolutely NO WEAR from the .223 soft point at 100 yds. PMC X-TAC steel core barely scratches the other manufacturers targets. So! If your buying this plate for .223 ?? You will wear it out fairly quickly.

Held up great against my .308 at 300 yards.

These gongs are heavy duty. Will be using them on a build project where I don't want to replace them, ever. Edges are fairly smooth, almost no burrs, pretty much ready for a color coat and put into service. Will buy more soon.

Multiple purchases of these because I've found them easy to work with. Already primed so I give them a quick bake, put on a coat of color and they're ready to go! Really like them and they hold up well. Enjoy!

Bought the 1/2" thick plate for some rifle shooting and it stopped every round. No pittings or craters. Cant beat the price and free shipping to Alaska. I like it so much that I purchased a set of 6 3/8"×8" plates for a plate rack build.
