World of Final Fantasy - PlayStation Vita

World of Final Fantasy will be noted as one of the most fun JRPGs on the Vita. It's more of a fun, storybook fantasy than an overly serious apocolyptic scenario more common the the genre. The gameplay mechanics are fresh and fun, especially the mirage collecting and stacking. I have to commend Square for giving the developers creative freedom to try new things and they mesh together very well. Speaking of, the characters and callouts from past FF games are well done, never feeling forced. If you're looking for a high quality, fun JRPG romp on your Vita, you'd be hard pressed to find one better than World of Final Fantasy. My expectations were exceeded.

This has to be a top 3 game made for the Vita. I have 48 hours logged on the game and beat the final boss. The journey was epic, funny, and very entertaining. This is a truly amazing game for the vita and the price is really good for the amount of content packed in this game. I have only previously played final fantasy 7 and 10, so I'm not a fan boy by any mean. It's good to know the stories behind some of the characters but it's not necessary and the game was still just as fun.

The fact that this game doesn't work on the PSTV is ridiculous. I could understand if the game needed the touch pad to play alot of the segments (since the PSTV doesn't have a touch pad, unlike the Vita). But this game to my knowledge doesn't even use the touch pad! I would really like to know what Sony was thinking when they decided to deny the PSTV owners. If their decision was based off of the PSTV being hacked and they didn't want to risk the game being pirated; The 3.61 patch already took care of that little problem.... I gave this game 1 star not because I think the game is bad. On the contrary, I think the game is gonna be great! But I, just like alot of other PSTV users haven't been able to play the game yet to even know for ourselves if it's good or not. I gave this 1 star because I really REALLY disapprove of Sony's decision to blacklist this game for the PSTV. Hopefully they will fix this within a couple of days with a patch

Being an avid Final Fantasy fan myself, I knew i had to get this game since it was on the PS VITA. My initial thoughts on the game so far have been great. World of Final Fantasy is a game that plays true to your traditional JRPG, classic Final Fantasy combat system. The art style of the game is unique and the characters are very adorable. If your looking for a new experience, on your PS VITA then this is the game to go for. Over the past couple of years the VITA hasn't been getting much love but this has been one of the best games of the year so far. If you dont have a final fantasy in your collection get it.

I was a victim of the demo. I played it through, and had to have more so ordered. I have really been enjoying this game and so far one of my favorite Vita games. Why not 5 stars??? For me to give a game 5 it would have to be almost perfect, and although this game is great it does have some shortcomings. Pros: Graphics-Just looks fantastic. Controls-doesn't really take advantage of the Vita's control abilities, but it is well mapped out. Stacking- I thought this would be kind of a dumb system, but it actually works well. Upgrade system - works great as well, giving you choices on what areas to upgrade first. Humor - Good use of humor so far. Load time are short for a handheld system Cons: Can get repetitive. Fight, fight, find a small treasure. Repeat. Menus can be a little confusing Save system is fine, but I always prefer a save anywhere system. Sometimes I only get little pieces of time to play, and this is also important for a handheld. Sqeaky voices for the non main characters In short. The game is a blast, and if you have vita you should get this. Not many high quality games for the Vita. The more I type this review the more I wonder if I should give it 5 stars.

I purchased this PS Vita World of Final Fantasy from seller Delaware with FBA (fulfilled by Amazon). I was worried before placing my order since the image description has the day one edition cover, but the description doesn't mention any of the DLC contents. After receiving the product, I was thrilled to see that it was indeed the physical copy of the day one edition. The reason why I wanted the day one edition of this game is because the pre-orders, limited and one day editions are the only copies that came with the Japanese voice overs, Sephiroth summon, white chocobo, glow moogle and red bonnetberry. The English voice over for the original copy of the game is terrible! There were a handful of English voice over characters that made me cringe. Characters talk throughout the game not just during cuts scenes, so having the desired voice over for me was important. Now I can finally enjoy this game with much better voice acting and Sephiroth by my side. It's hard to recommend games as everyone has a specific genre and style, but if you have been playing Final Fantasy in the very beginning then you will enjoy playing this game. I've never been into Pokemon/Digimon type games, but I am immersed with this game. The storyline is good, I particularly enjoy Lann's character, he always makes me laugh. Overall a great game for me to play before bed, just run around collecting new mirages.

The Day One Edition doesn’t have Voice Acting. WTH Square Enix?! Who sells Voice Acting as DLC?! Other than that, a great FF game thats a return to form and also unique in its own right. Reminded me of the Nintendo Pokémon games.
