Siamod Vernazza Collection 15.6" Vertical Wheeled Laptop Case

I purchased the McKlein LaGrange (155); Siamod Novembre (175) and Siamod Pastenello (225) from Amazon as the fulfiller.I needed a vertical laptop bag with wheels to use when flying for business. I wanted something to fit under the seat. (An aside: I also recommend the Zo&Co Travel Tote. It slips on the pocket of the airline seat so all your stuff is at arms reach and then folds up into thirds to slip in your bag. Love it!)Here are my observations:-These are all the same manufacturer. The sizing is very similar, if not identical - the differences are in styling and leather.-The telescoping handles on all 3 are identical, even though some of the photos for the Siamond bags show the button on the top- it's NOT, all three have the button awkwardly placed in the handle (annoying, but not a deal breaker).-The insides are all the same, even the same fabric, however, there is an additional pocket (open top, attached to the padded middle zipper section) on the PASTENELLO that is NOT on the other two. **Alert: this Pocket is NOT for your laptop - I saw some reviews saying it was too small for your laptop. Your laptop goes in the bag, not the pocket. I place my laptop in the section closest to the handle- that way the bag doesn't tip and it has extra protection by being near the back of the wheeled section.-These are the equivalent of a standard laptop bag as far as sizing and capacity, although it is deeper.. about twice as thick as my HP laptop bag.. (I can fit two laptops in these without issue) They are not as large (capacity) as a traditional briefcase. If you are looking for a laptop bag, I think you will be pleased. If you are looking for something that holds more like a briefcase, you will likely think these do not have enough room.-These come with two FOBs - one contains the keys for the outside pocket stuffed inside.-McKlein LaGrange: cheapest option. I like the styling best. VERY stiff leather, difficult to get things in and out of.-Siamod Novembre: Compromise $ between the other two. Least favorite style.. Softer than the LaGrange, but still stiff. Not a huge fan of the Croc look.-Siamod Pastenello: Most expensive. Styling more casual than LaGrange, but much better in person than online IMO. Soft leather; no contest between the other two. Easy to get into the bag. I wish they had the McKlein Style in this leather.Winner: Siamod Pastenello. Despite the heftier pricetag, the softer leather allowing easier access to the bag is worth it.

I know my 2 stars doesn't seem to make since, please keep reading.My carrier arrived Tuesday [today] one day earlier - YAY!I've enjoyed this brand in the past [two horizontal - 1straps and 1wheeled]. So, here arrives the vertical, nice soft leather packaged very well.The carrier removes with extreme ease from its wheeled casing.I immediately remove all tags and tossed all packing items. Yes, before my full inspection.I added pictures to show.... The outer pocket [great size by the way] has scratches on the latch.In the roomy inside, where my laptop goes, there is no bottom other than the carrier itself. What looks like a pocket is only a soft divider.Other than those two issues the size of the carrier is great. It could easily earn 20 stars.However, for me the two issues are major issues seeing that I just received my item today.To the manufacturer: Please consider folding the bottom to make a pocket instead of having the computer drop to the bottom.I guess the current style makes sense if the carrier stayed on the wheels, but that doesn't work well when carried on the shoulder.

I had been using an over the should bag for some time now, however, recently hurt my thumb/hand because the bag was so heavy. I really like the fact that this bag has a cart that can be wheeled around and you have the option to remove the cart and use it over the shoulder. This back has more space than my old one, so this is a plus. I love that the front pocket locks for private documents and I have added another small lock to the main zipper. Very nice quality, beautiful bag, and the leather is soft and flexible. I was a little skeptical about the zipper being of poor quality, however, I've been using this bag daily for nearly a month now and have not had any problems.

Bought this for my daughter. She teaches some classes at out local Junior College and has a long ways to walk from the lot to some of the buildings....the walk she doesn't mind, but the heaviness of her computer bag was getting to be an issue. Enter PASTENELLO!! Since receiving this for her birthday in November, she is still talking about how much she loves it, and everything about it. She had researched wheeled leather laptop bags over a year ago and narrowed it down to this one, but never purchased it. I surprised her and she couldn't be happier with it.

I am a teacher and have to carry my computer, planning book, student work and files. It has plenty of room for everything that I need to take back and forth from school! This is the perfect bag for what I need!
