The LEGO Animation Book: Make Your Own LEGO Movies!

This book is a great walk through for anyone starting out in stop motion. It shows you different movements of the body parts to achieve different expressions successfully. The book was fun to read due to the casual speech pattern and funny facts to help you remember. Having ADHD its hard for me to pay attention for long periods of time, however I couldn't put this book down. Highly recommend for any and all ages.

This was a gift; receiver was so engrossed he fell asleep reading. Reading at 8 was enough to make it a great gift, can't wait to see what he does now

Enjoyed that this book is about brick filming. It has some general animation principles and how that relates to Lego. The language is plain enough for a child and interesting enough for an adult.

Detailed instructions, nice illustrations. Will have to give a follow up review after gifting to my grandson and see if an eight year old can utilize the information presented.

This was on a gift list, and he was SO HAPPY to get it as a present. He loves Lego and aspires to be an animator - so this book was perfect.

My son has been obsessed with Legos since he was 3. He’s now 13 and is thrilled to start making his own movies! This book concentrates more on the movie concepts then mechanics. We bought this book along with the Klutz Lego “make your own movie kit,” which focuses more on mechanics. The two together give you pretty much all the information you need.My son is now 13 and is doing a Lego movie for his Social Studies class to demonstrate his ideas on how Canada can best move their oil sands supply via pipeline through the US to the Gulf of Mexico. Incredible.

This was purchased for a 12 year old boy who would love to work in the field of animation someday. He was very excited to receive this book to start him on the road of animation. His eyes lit up when he opened it and started reading it. Hi s mom told me afterwards that it was the perfect gift. I would recommend this to young animation dreamers.
