Peace of mind
My daughter sleep walks during times of high anxiety. She talks like she’s awake and comes downstairs but will often say weird things which is how we know she’s sleeping still. And she doesn’t remember them in the morning. I started to get concerned that she could get up in the night and just walk right out the front door. We don’t have a traditional alarm and one of the dogs would likely hear her but as a safety precaution we bought this and put the sensors on all three exterior doors. The chime box is in our room. I like that the volume is adjustable. We haven’t needed to change the batteries yet and we’ve had it for about 6 months now. We did have to cut into the trim around the door to get the sensor to fit correctly but that was quick and easy. You hardly notice it and it’s worth it to know that we’ll wake up if she attempts to sleep walk out of the house.

Easy To Use. Shows Which Door Opened. Loud
I got the 3-sensor/2-receiver version. When a sensor is triggered, the numeric display shows which sensor was triggered (001, 002, or 003 in this case). But it only displays the number for about 1 second, so if you don't look fast, you miss it. The sensors are assigned a number from the factory, but they aren't labeled, so you need to try each sensor to see which is #001, etc.You have the option to set a different ringtone chime for each sensor, which could be used to indicate which sensor was triggered. IMO, only 2 of the ringtones are suitable for commercial use (ding-dong type chimes); the rest are songs which I have no interest in. Frankly, they are very cheesy.Volume has a few settings. The lowest volume was still too loud for me, so I put a piece of tape over the speaker which solved the problem. The speaker faces the wall, so the tape isn't visible. When the receiver is plugged into a standard outlet, you can't plug a grounded (3-prong) cord into the other outlet--it doesn't fit, so you'll need to unplug the receiver if you need the outlet for vacuuming. Ungrounded (2-prong) cords fit fine. Seems like they could make the receivers smaller though.Double-chime: others have noted the ringtone plays 2 times each time the door is opened. I thought the same thing, but it turns out, that's just how the ring-tone is. It's not a single ding-dong; it's 2 ding-dongs, so it sounds like the chime is paying twice.Close door chime: as others have noted, the ringtone also chimes when the door closes. So each time a door is opened, the ringtone sounds when opened, and again when closed. Yes it's a bit annoying, but on the bright side, I hear every visitor. The manufacturer suggested pairing the sensors, but mine worked out of the box, so I did't need to.Batteries lasted about 3 months. I replaced with Energizer on 9/1/23. Will see if they last longer.

DOES NOT NEED WIFI
The media could not be loaded. These door alarms are AMAZING!I have children who like ti walk out of my house, or go in my garage to turn the thermostat up to 90 degrees!Or just sneak out after bedtime to get into goodies!Alarms are on all doors, all have different tones you can set, so you know which door is opening!I have the main box plugged in my room, so no children can unplug it, you can adjust the volume on the main box, super loud or super quiet. It can connect up to 20 door alarms!PLUS You don’t need Wi-FiTo change the tones click the up or down button on the main box until you find the tone you want, hold down the volume button until you hear a small beep, you have five seconds to open the door for the tone you want changed. After you do that, the tone will be different the next time you open it.

Loud and Neat sound options
We bought this for our business. Our studio where our clients come in is next door to our office on the other side of the building with a separate entry. There is a 8" thick wall between the 2 sides.I'd say the range is 150 ft because we can hear them very well whichever side we are on. My husband chose the barking dog sound for our office side and a regular store sounding tone on the other. It works very well. The batteries seem to last for a good amount of time.

Works for short amount of time.
It only worked for 4 months. I bought 2 receivers one stopped working before the other and now both don’t work.
