They fit great. I have never bought Danner before
I found these boots at one of the large outdoor outfitter chains here locally. The price was much cheaper online so I found my size there and came and bought these. They fit great. I have never bought Danner before. They are some of the most comfortable boots I have owned. I do solar and am on my feet all day. They even hold up well to asphalt roof abuse, though I must say, the material on the toe is a little thin. For typical use, I think it is no problem, but if you are doing roof work you may find they wear a little quickly. The thing is, they are so comfortable I will buy these again when these wear out.The only can is I do not like where the toe piece of leather ties into the side. I wear the side of my boots a lot and am worried that once it wears through the threads that the side will split open. I would be much happier if that piece on the side was two layers with more stitching. With that said, I still think these boots are superior to others at this price point.

Husband loves these
My husband prefers these over many other brands we’ve tested. He’s tough on them and they last.

Best boots ive worn
I work Alaskas oilfield running HE, roustabouting and operating process systems within ancient facilities. Ive worn uncomfortable wolverines, non-lasting keens, iron soled red wings and others with unsatisfactory results, comfort or durability. My love for vibram soles put me onto these danners, have worn them for a year now, extremely comfortable and are still going strong, ill have them another 6mo to a year. I work in rocks, sand, expanded metal, concrete, ice, snow and HE cabs. The only down side is these boots eat laces, i go through a pair every other month but i like tight boots. Other than that the plastic covers over the metal lace holders have snapped off, the toe leather is beat up "ugly", bits of the sole are busting off but not a complete seperarion, all as was expected for a work boot, it aint a beauty contest. These boots are comfy and last in hard work enviroments.

Leakey boots
The reason for 3 star is the pair I got leak. I had them 3 days and on 3rd day it rained and was walking out at work on a wet paved surface and my feet got wet. This is not what I consider water proof. The way the boot feels is very comfortable very lightweight. If I had used these boots for a few months I could have understood them leaking but not 3 days old so that is why I gave 3 star

Comfortable right out of the box
Comfortable right out of the box. I purchased my size and I don't feel my feet moving around. A half size smaller might work but I'm perfectly happy with the same size as my running shoes. I wear Mizuno Shoes, by the way if that makes any difference. The boots look good, feel good, and seem to be well made. Time will tell because they get worked hard.

Four Stars
Great boot. Would like better if it had rubber cover over toe. Good boot.

Poor fit per size chart
Used Danners size chart and called for a 11ee.tried on and wore around house and felt ok but I wore them to work next day and they stretched out and now my feet slide in them.I'm a UPS drive and that's not something I can have.Makes my footing unsafe.Very disappointed in fit chart but Love the boots.now I'm stuck with boots I can't wear.

Quality boots
These are my second pair. Comfortable to wear all day. Not suitable for tree climbing with gaffs the heel is not tall enough. That will not keep me from buying another pair I will just wear different boots when I need to climb
