Q: I noticed the first few ingredients are alcohol... is that not a drying agent for hair?

I have the driest, curliest hair I have ever seen and this works better than anything I have ever tried on my hair. Definitely does not dry hair out. Sometimes I will even sleep with it in my hair over night and wash out in morning when my hair is feeling extra dry.

Q: Is this okay to use as a leave in conditioner? My curls are absolutely loving it and it gives such a great texture :)

Although I don't leave it in, if it works for you then go for it .

Q: Does it contain a lot of protein? good for low porosity hair? is there a better formula for lopo hair?
