A fabulous book featuring some outstanding designs created by some of Africa's finest. The designs reflect garments that can transcend time.

This book shows a variety of Afrocentric designers and introduces future trends in fashion. As a sewer, I found it useful to see creative combining of patterns and even handpainted designs on the fabrics.

Well put together and lovely photographs. Much more than a collection of clips from magazines as these things often are. I hope there will be a series. I am not in the least bit interested in fashion, but I found myself assessing how each designer was making his/her statement.Guys- if you want to score a couple of credits in the "interested in your interests" box then buy this for her.

This was exactly what I was looking for. The fashions in here are great. I can't wait to use their ideas to help me develop my own.
