Works well and easy to install. Also works on a Harley Davidson FLHT
Although it didn't specify it would work for my particular motorcycle. I knew they would work. I put these on a 1998 Harley Davidson FLHT to raise the front of the gas tank to get more airflow to the engine. I used the existing tank mount torx screws to mount the bottom of lift kit brackets and the supplied allen screws to mount the tank to the bracket. The screws supplied were a little too long and hit the frame before they were fully tightened. I solved the problem by using additional washers under the screw heads. Good solution to raise your tank and the price is cheaper than kits made for the larger Harley baggers.

Good price
They come with 5mm, hex head chrome bolts and washers. The brackets seem fairly sturdy. If I encounter any issues, I'll be sure to provide an update. The bracket bottoms have unthreaded holes and you use the stock bolts to attach them to the frame. The top ends are threaded to accept the supplied bolts which go through the tabs on the tank. Top of the bracket goes to the inside of the tank tabs. Easy to install although it was a bit tricky on my Road Glide. There is limited space to work because the fixed fairing does not turn out of the way to expose the side of the tank. I made sure my tank was pretty well empty. Made lifting and adjusting much easier. Remove the front tank bolts and loosen the rear bolts. I found that installing them to the frame first was easier but suit yourself. I also installed 3/16 aluminum spacers under the rear tank bolts as well. That's not necessary...it was just something I wanted to do to promote more airflow under the tank. Once everything is installed...make sure you properly tighten everything... These may cause your gauge to read a bit differently so be prepared for that. It's now easier to get under the tank to clean the cylinder heads and the extra visible chrome looks nice. I watched a number of YouTube videos and raising the tank does tend to promote some engine cooling, which on a Harley, is always a good thing!

1 inch fuel tank lift HD touring
Easy install. Quality parts. Strong metal. Good powder coat. Nice chromed hardware. Good fit. No issues. Installed on 2020 road glide. Also got the 1.5 inch but I liked the1 inch better strictly because of looks.

Does the job
Lifts the tank 1.5" Paint and quality seem pretty decent. Bolts are good also. Win win....compared to name brand at higher price!

Needs to be adapted to fit Softails
I'm sure it fits the 48 and sportster models, but one set of holes need to be drilled wider to fit the Softail Street Bob bots.Good value for money mod, makes a large difference to the look and no one can put their finger on why it looks better than stock until you tell them! :)
