They do what you'd expect
These are heavy cans. They make a huge difference in sound quality for ceiling speakers. They're worth the money and they're not that expensive when you think about your system investment.

Does not Fit Polk Audio RC80i 8" speakers.
Says suitable for 8" speakers yet doesn't fit one of the most common 8" speakers the Polk Audio RC80i. It would not sit down over the tabs that secure the speaker to the ceiling/wall. It took me forever to get up in the attic to try and install them. Found out they didn't fit. Tried to return. Past return period. So now I am stuck with them.
