HK828S IP-X7 Waterproof Quiet Chargeable Hair Clippers for Baby Children kids

I used it on my one year old son for shaving his head for a religious ceremony. Everyone was shocked that he remained so calm during the whole process, and I think it was in a big part due to how quiet and well this worked in cutting all of his hair. The lowest setting does not yield a perfectly bald head, but we were cautioned against having too close of a shave on our son, so this was perfect. I can't speak to the battery power, but it lasted the entire haircut, so that would be as long as I need it to perform.

We got this for our 4 year old son. He doesn't have any sensory issues, so I can't speak to that. We got it because, since he was old enough to talk, he told us he wanted his hair as short as possible. Nothing 'spikey'. For about a year we cut his hair with my husband's adult sized clippers. While those worked OK, I always had to go over his head again with scissors and cut all of the stray hairs that were missed on his tiny head. While this does still miss some hairs (nothing is perfect), it does a much better job of fitting his child-sized head and only leaves a few stragglers behind.So far I've used the 2 shortest settings and they both look comparable to the length you'd get in a barber shop.It's much quieter than the other clippers we have, though it still does make a low buzzing noise. It's quiet enough that we can have the TV on normal volume and still hear it while cutting his hair.It has an easy to use on/off switch.I've never tested its waterproof ability.The package comes with several different lengths of guards, a charger, an apron, and it's supposed to come with a cleaning brush (though ours wasn't in the package). The charger is a USB, not a standard plug. I'm sure everyone has access to a USB charging port in 2017, but it's worth noting it's not a traditional US outlet plug.For the price this is great. I'm sure if I spent a ton of money I'd never have to use scissors to clean up missed hairs, but this is totally worth it for our needs!

Only got two hair cuts out of it before it stopped working.

This clipper is quieter than my old one, however it is weaker also. I could not cut my baby’s hair in a quick shot, I need to have the clipper ran back and forth couple time to have the same spot to be cut neat. At the beginning, I thought the power was not enough, it was still the same after I fully charged it.Low noise came out from the clipper when it was on, but still, my baby was scared to cry and kept turning his head around to search for the noise. I think it might work out fine if my infant baby was asleep.

I used this the first night i got it. My 1.5 yr old was patient and the hair cut was given my wife's stamp of approval. For those who mentioned that it was quiet, there is no such thing as a silent motor. The clippers are very quiet compared with adult variety.

My son was so scared of the clippers but we got these and he will sit for a hair cut. They do not cut 100% of the hair the first time but that might be because he is moving and I am not that great at it. I normally have to cut his hair 2 or 3 times before I get it right.

The razor is so weak that it takes a long time to cut my 15 month old son's hair. He's not happy about it.I wish I could trade in this for their other model, which is more powerful

Its not super quiet although it is quieter than regular clippers. Also its low-medium powered motor, can't cut thick bushy hair.

Works perfectly for baby. Sometimes the clips pop off though after about 2 years of use. Charge last long.

Grabbed this to clean up my 4 month old's hair that was getting a little ragged as he had bald spots everywhere. Left it to charge overnight and used it the next day on him and he didn't mind one bit! He's usually scared of loud noises and while not super quiet he didn't mind the buzz at all. The different adjustable lengths were very helpful as well and snapped on easily and securely.
