Expensive but works well enough
Expensive for an all plastic loupe . Feels quite cheap in hand. However works well giving plenty of detail whilst examining your favourite watch

Not as sharp as I expected
Big magnification for your really small things (I use it to check nibs on fountain pens), but I was surprised that as a watchmaker's tool from this very well known brand, it is not as sharp as I would like. But it's cheap and works.

Great quality sturdy plastic body and what appear to be real glass elements.
This is the best of several loupes I purchased. I should have just gone with this one and the cheap plastic substitutes. This DOES have a plastic body, but it is more substantial in quality than the flimsy plastic bodies on the cheap kits of various magnifications. This has glass elements like the old German on that I was trying to replace. I has German one that was my dads from circa early 1980’s and the body finally started to crack beyond repair. This loupe is perfect for my needs with even edge distribution of magnification. It is bright and clear.
