It's abhorrent to me to buy mdse and then to return same...but I cannot countenance the negligence of those who will betray a public trust. This product would be ideal for an 8 year old if it worked as it should and if components were not missing. Had the manufacturer spent a little more time in design and assembly we would not have to go through the trouble of returning merchandise (and writing this stupid letter) and our grandson would have a good educational toy. Fortunately; I used the product before giving it to the child. Had I just given it to him, he would not have been able to use it due to it's deficiencies and we would never had known of our waste of time and effort.Dear Amazon, public trust is a precious commodity. I know how difficult it must be to vet the stuff you sell and I appreciate your return policy, but there is a limit to the trouble and disappointment one must endure at the hands of those who would manufacture and sell defective Mdse. with apathy.Thanks,Ron

This is a great snap circuits kit! My son has the Snap Circuits brand, but my daughter wanted her own set, so I searched and found this set. She loves it and I am happy with the quality. The pieces fit like legos and are colorful and easy to use. The instructions are clear and the booklet has a great section explaining electricity (more in-depth explanation than the Snap Circuits brand's instructions.) Great for girls, due to the more colorful pieces and the heart that lights up, but also great for beginners due to the great explanations provided. It could also be good for younger kids because the pieces are much easier to fit together than the kind in the Snap Circuits Jr set that we also own.

I have a bought two of these. One for my six-year-old grandson‘s birthday and one for my 10-year-old grandson’s birthday. They both totally enjoyed them!

A great idea and fun to use. Pieces snap together like legos, which makes them easy to understand for kids. However, parts a little fragile/cheap. The music piece played a couple of times and then just stopped working.

Amazing and fun only problem i found was the speaker didn't work so my nephew was a little bummed but all around a great buy

Had such a great time with my LEGO loving grandson. He is only 7 but he can now grasp how electricity works. It does need an adult to explain some things, but he’s got it now and loves it. I had great quality time with him.

This was a gift for my 5 year old granddaughter. I received pictures of her very excited happy face making projects. My daughter also sent me a video of her making a little part whirl up in the air. Very fun times! She loves it.

At first, my son gave a look of confusion when he saw, but quickly turned into a believer. All of my children love creating the various projects and can't keep their hands off of it. This is a great resource for home schools and or kids who want to learn more about electricity.I strongly recommend this product.
