New Catholic Children's Bible: Inspiring Bible Stories in Word and Picture

My grandson asked me to buy him this bible because they have it in his classroom at his Catholic school. It's a wonderful bible. It is well written and the illustrations are beautiful.

Appearance wise this Bible looks good - good size text and not too thick or heavy, nice pictures too!What you should know is that the text are not bible scriptures, they are stories about the scriptures. For example, The Creation story does NOT start with "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth..." It starts with "Our catechism tell us that God is eternal. This means He always was and always will be..." It is a good summary of what the Bible contains but not true Bible books.Basically, it depends what you are looking for in a Children's Bible!

This beautiful illustrated Bible is great for the whole family. It's easy to read and the pictures are captivating. Each chapter flows seamlessly to the next. Once you start reading, you can't stop. It's hard to put down. I suggest reading it together as a family. It's fantastic!
