Free & Icy Girl
Isis was stubborn as a mule and held on to her beliefs in not being in a relationship. Having front row seats to her family’s horrible relationships throughout the years were enough for her not to want to pursue one. In her mind, it was best that way, but in her heart I knew Ice wanted love. Sis did not do commitments and definitely didn’t do them with rappers. The fact that Free was a retired rapper or not didn’t stop Isis from changing her mind. But one night had Isis coming back for more. She was trying to keep their situationship exactly what it was-a situation. Then here comes Freedom. The man exuded BDE out the gate, okay! I loved Free! Dominate and determine to melt Icy Girl’s heart. And slowly but surely, he did just that. I loved the strong connection between them. To Free, she was worth fighting for. But soon, sis started to get on my nerves. I stay screaming so loud at these women in these books!🗣Ma’am let this man love you! She was fighting love hard chile🙄. Overall, the book was good. I enjoyed it and it definitely kept me entertained. I’ve read the next book in the series, What You’ve Been Missing, and it’s just as great as the first. This wasn’t my first read by the author, but it was still a treat. If you haven’t read Free Game, I highly suggest you put it on you TBR for this weekend.

Not Bad
I'm just glad Tyra didn't cause any drama. But I hated to hear how her brother got killed. If she was my sister I would have a hard time forgiving her. Free was determined and got hos woman.

Cute Read!
Isis was a woman who thought she knew what she wanted, to avoid love and the possibility of getting hurt. Free was a man who also knew what he wanted as well, Isis! And he wasn’t gonna let her go easily! I love the cute banter between Isis and Free. I loved how how checked her when she needed to be checked and didn’t let her stand in her own way! Did I mention there was some good ol spicy scenes that never disappoint! Check this out of you’re looking for a good read!

Really good book!
Isis is pretty jaded when it comes to relationships. So not interested in getting tied down or trusting ANY man. At her job, she runs a tight ship and is strict with adhering to the rules about appointments. She didn't like when people didn't follow the rules and F. Owens had 2 strikes already. He bulldozes his way into her life. He wants to get to know her but she fights him every step.I kinda didn't like how he called her every name but what she asked him to call her. Like dude, you ain't cute, you're a bit disrespectful. Especially when she says to specifically call her her name. I will say that when she finally gives him a chance, it's a beautiful thing.

Love, fire and acceptance. This book had it all in under three hundred pages. I fully recommend this book. Would love to catch up with Free and Ice after the baby was born.

A Kema B Virgin No More!
Chiiiiiiiile... I wasn't ready! Not to have my soul snatched in the way that Ms. B. did! This is my first time reading one of her books and admittedly the description didn't suck me all the way in, but in preparation of a long day of getting my hair done at the hair salon today, I started reading a few pages to make sure I would be entertained while sitting under the dryer. Next thing you know it's 1:30 in the morning and I am sniggling and giggling to myself in bed because I just read the whole book while my husband is snoring his lil heart away. This book y'all was GOOD TO ME. It was hilarious and kinda hood mixed with a little sweet and some drama and just a LOT of BIG D energy and sexy scenes to back it up. I reread one of Free's sentences (initial club scene) 3 times because my mind just needed to feel all of those words. Yesss Lawd! That daggon Isis made me want to lay hands on her stubborn self, but thankfully Momma Eve (who didn raise no punks) stepped in and made her get some act right that resulted in a HEA that made me smile, even at 1:30 am. Kema B., job well done ma'am!

Brilliant
Total enjoyed this book couldn't put it down. Story about 2 people finding their way - no side chick involved. Would love to see want happens to Frankie, Mase and India, plus if Mama Moores seasoned kitty got some attention.

Freedom had me too
Freedom had Isis out of her element and she wouldn't admit it and I was ready to see where the journey took them and it didn't disappoint. It's okay to be afraid of love when someone has hurt you but when someone playing the long game and is genuine comes your way, give it a shot. Freedom had me too with that smile and his demons that haunt his thoughts humanized him and Isis letting herself be free and open with him was a beautiful read.

real and sexy
A story straight to the point with 2 adults comfortable in their body and respectful of the other. It was sweet realness. And the Black culture references had me hollering.
