I love my conditioner bar!
The Good:1. A little goes a long ways. After one month of use this bar looks like it’s the same exact size to me lol! This thing really lasts!!2. $18 seems like a lot to spend on conditioner but considering we can’t tell if it’s changed in size after one month; that means the price point is actually really good!3. It does a good job.4. It smells absolutely amazing!5. I’ve had no issues with this conditioner bar.The Bad:1. When you first use it in the shower you can’t tell if it’s working or not lol. I conditioned my hair several times before deciding to give up and see what happens when it dries lol. I’ve used my ethique shampoo with conditioner and without and the bar does work. It does condition. it’s very unique though, and takes some adjusting.2. Ethique shampoo bar is so good that I rarely have to use my conditioner bar. I notice a difference in my hair after. My hair is less frizzy when I use this bar. It’s not a necessary purchase because of this but I do love my conditioner bar regardless.... but... My hair is silky smooth, healthy, Shiny and is amazing both with and without the conditioner honestly. 🤷🏻♀️3. Most of the negative reviews that I read were about the bars not lasting. $18 a month on conditioner was not going to be a feasible monthly buy for me. I have a corner shelf in my shower that is away from direct water but does not protect the bars from moisture. We’ve been using our bars for a month. (two adults using it every other day to every three days). In my opinion it looks like it did when I just took it out of the box lol. But.., I can see how this would be frustrating for people who doesn’t have a corner shelf, don’t want to buy the bar storage containers, can’t afford them, or anyone that just can’t deal with idea of moving the bars in and out of the shower with every use.4. I use this bar the guardian conditioner, with heali kewi. For whatever reason my hair takes almost twice as long to dry sense I’ve switched to ethique. It may be my hair type but I can see how this could be problematic for others. Especially people with very curly hair. If you are concerned about this I recommend getting their sample pack.... although paying $16 for samples that you don’t know if you’ll like or not is a bit much in my opinion. I have seen a lot of amazing reviews from very curly haired people for the sweet and spicy ethique bar. The salt is supposed to be helpful. Since my curl pattern is restoring I do plan on trying that bar next, myself. I have washed my hair with just their shampoo bar(heali kewi) without the conditioner bar and it took a little bit longer to dry but not much longer. In my opinion if you have curly hair and need it to dry quickly this may be an issue for you. this product may not make you happy.5. Because this product restores curling patterns on some people and causes tighter bouncier curls for other people who are trying to tame their curls this may be problematic.Helpful info: the pic is of the bars after one month of use. The conditioner Bar comes out about half the size of the shampoo bar if not 1/3 but it also has not been used up in my opinion nearly at all. It’s the same size as far as I can tell from when I opened it! It has even kept its perfect shape compared to the shampoo bar that you can more easily tell has been used!

Not a good product
This bar is supposed to be unscented, but to my nose, it has a slight unpleasant smell. What's worse, though. is that my thick, coarse hair, when I attempt to condition it with this bar, just comes out tangled and prone to snapping. It actually feels like it doesn't do anything at all, if not making it worse.

Not for curls
My hair is naturally wavy/curly and craves moisture. I bought this in an effort to create less waste but it’s not even remotely effective. My hair has been so dry and feels wrong.

Great all around
I have curl type 2B/C, chin length hair. I love this for condition & co-washing. The scent is mild & pleasant, not obnoxious - I don't like heavily scented products, this is just right. I have sensitive skin, this hasn't caused any irritation of my scalp or face. It's moisturizing enough, although I still have problems with the frizzies and have to use a good styling product to deal with those. But it does leave my hair a very nice workable texture, it doesn't leave a tacky residue at all. I especially have liked it for co-washing: I've tried maybe 3 or 3 conditioning bars the last few years & this one gets to a nice creamy, spreadable texture that makes it really easy to work down into my scalp when I co-wash. It def works well for for regular conditioning at the ends too. And it seems to be very long lasting. I use it 3x/week, & I think I've been using it at least a month or two, it's holding up really well. I'd def buy it again

Difficult to apply
I have extremely long and thick hair. This was smooth and silky and the result after my hair dried--glorious. The application is difficult since my hair was just wash. I had to run this through my hair A LOT, but once I got it all covered, it was easy to finger comb my hair. The smell is faint, but nice and not overwhelming. I also purchased the calming shampoo bar, but instead of going with the unscented conditioning bar, I selected this one since my ends are generally dryer. I have only used this once--but my hair feels amazing dry. As it dries, it was feeling heavy and I wasn't sure if I was going to like it--but I LOVE it!!!

Threw It Away.
Difficult to get on hair (compared to other conditioner bars) and not at all moisturizing. Left a film. I threw it away.

Really good conditioner bar
I will start by saying there was a mix up with my order and it wasn't confirmed. I contacted the seller and they got back to me right away and put my order in. They expedited my order and I received it before the original receive date. The conditioner bar works great. It doesn't leave any kind of waxy residue on my hair. It left my hair really soft. And with the winter weather it works well enough that my hair isn't staticky. Overall it is a really good conditioner bar.I gave 5 stars because the customer service was great and the product is really good. Mix ups can happen and they did a wonderful job getting my purchase to me.

For a friend
I got this for a friend for wavy hair for her trip through South America as I know Ethique are good products from using them myself. Her review was ‘these are AMAZING! I’m going to get my partner to buy more to bring over in a couple weeks as they are perfect in the humidity & are great for my style hair’

Best solid conditioner I've tried
This is a game changer. Better than L'occitane 100% and better than all the other brands I've tried. Recommend

Never found cheaper (cruelty free) and as good as this one.
(Curly hair 3c type)Everyone loves the smell, I don't like sweet ones and this one is good for me.I combine with "Faith in Nature" shampoo and the "Lush" leave-in products for curly hair. This one is not cheap but I never found a cheaper that works well on my hair. Not easy to spread on your hands but for me is not a problem, aI apply directly on hair.It lasts forever, a good point about not spreading easily.PS.-Every products I referred here is cruelty free

Travel conditioner
Not a fan of block conditioner. I purchased this to reduce liquid size when travelling, I have thick long curly hair and left my hair dry. I now use it on my dog when washing and her coat is very soft and shiny. I will buy conditioner in travel destination next time instead.
