Taking Care of Business (Kate & Leah series Book 1)

STORY BRIEF:Leah and Kate are best friends. Leah works in Human Resources for Allied Packaging. Kate is an outside lawyer who was hired to do some work for Allied. Leah and Kate are staying at a hotel where Allied is having meetings for four days. On the day Leah left for the hotel she kicked Mike out of her home. They had been playing dom/sub games with Mike as the dom, but he was selfish and arrogant about it, which was unsatisfying for Leah. Leah meets Brandon at the hotel who is in charge of conference services. She instructs Brandon how to set up the rooms and what food and beverages to supply. She tells him if he does a good job she may reward him. This is the beginning of their relationship in which Leah dominates Brandon in the bedroom. He has never been submissive before, but he enjoys letting her dominate. Leah is surprised by how much she enjoys it.Kate the outside legal counsel is having an affair with Dix, the in-house legal counsel for Allied. Dix has an ex-wife with two teenage girls. He is a devoted father. He is still linked with his ex-wife Eve, because when she wants a jar opened or something fixed, he goes to do it. Kate likes his time with his daughters but will not accept that he continues helping Eve when she should get someone else to do those things.REVIEWER'S OPINION:It was pretty good. The characters were good. It was a traditional romantic formula of couples getting together, having fights to break up, and then getting back together again. I wasn't thrilled with the reasons for the separations, but they were acceptable since the purpose of the book is for erotic scenes rather than story depth. The stories were a little different from normal which was good. I liked seeing Leah "gently" dominate Brandon, which was different from most male dominants that I've read about. I enjoyed watching Brandon honestly enjoy doing whatever she asked.DATA:Story length: 284 pages. Swearing language: strong. Sexual language: strong (including self pleasuring). Lauren Dane/Megan Hart burn up the pages. These ladies know how to write a good erotic romance. I recommend it to those who like a GOOD story.

I loved this book. I have read everything Lauren Dane has written and am just starting to read Megan Hart. It is well worth your time and money and I happily give it 5 stars.

It started off kind of slow and took a little work to get me interested. I didn't care for the Leah & Kate in the book, because lets face it after a certain age, everyone has baggage, whether it be an ex-wife, kids, ex-boyfriend, parent issues, etc. They couldn't see a good guy that each one of them had found. Leah just wanted dominate poor Brandon and Kate was jealous of Dix's relationship with his ex-wife (which is understandable during the book) but both needed to grow up and act like adults.

I've read almost all of Megan Harts books but this one is nothing but sex! Her first book I read Dirty is one that you can put it down till you've finished it but this one is just well boring every time they had sex it was the same thing. Wasted my money

The book was very good and I would recommed this book to my friends. Megan Hart and Lauren Dane is a good writer and story teller and I will continue reading her books

I enjoyed the friendship of the two lead characters and their individual storylines, which were believable. The sex was hot and didn't disappoint. I wish there had been more!

This book is essentially about two women, they've knowing each other since grade school. They're both successful in business, and they are both called to a conference, the same conference at the same time. One of the women is involved with her boss, the other one hooks up with the hotel manager, and the book is essentially about their exploits . The erotic scenes were described adequately and very nicely, there was no issues with that . The issues that I have is it's almost like it's the same old same old. Is there any other kind of romance other than S&M? Or does Fifty Shades of Grey still resonate through the literary world ?

An eventful and action packed story - very adult materiel at times.

It had good and bad bits . Well not really bad but they just seemed to be a lot of erotic scene when there is such a good story going on in all the characters lives . Would say it's a got to read .

"broken" bleiben die Charaktere zweidimensional und ihre gedanklichen Hintergründe unverständlich, da ihr Innenleben und Ansichten nicht ausreichend dargestellt wurde. Dennoch ein prickelnder Zeitvertreib.

I have nearly read both books. I liked the characters and most of the story line. I do believe there should have been in depth story line than sexsceens. I found myself skipping a lot of the sex action. There is such a thing as too much. Imagination and story line mean a lot more.
