PaddywaxCandles YY1004Z Yin & Yang Collection Scented Candle, 11-Ounce, White - Black Salt | Teakwood

I love the unique concept of this candle (yin & yang), as well as its scent. I've never bought candles online before, as I don't know if I like the scent. I've been eyeing this candle for a while, and finally take the plunge. It arrives on time and the candle smells really good. I'm so excited to try. But after a few times burnings (more than a few hours each time), I realize that the candle is tunneling, which happens when the wick melts only the center of the wax, leaving the surrounding wax untouched, therefore creating a tunnel. I'm very disappointed as the candle is not cheap, I can buy multiple candles at my local HomeGoods for the same price. Amazon is great as usual, send me a replacement. But unfortunately the result is also the same. So I believe this is not just an accident. It's just how the candle is, due to insufficient quantity of wicks.

Overall I found the idea of two separate candles to be fun, and thought this would be a great gift due to the nice design as well.The first thing I noticed was that the internal packaging inserts that covered the wax themselves had holes that looked as if the wicks were supposed to poke through it, but they're in different locations so it just sits on top of them.The scents were very pleasant and didn't have any powerful "fake" smell like other candles, and additionally the combination went well together.Due to the shape of the container, the actual wax reservoirs are raised from the bottom and there is a lower volume of wax than there would appear to be; however it is still advertised as an 11-ounce candle so I assume that part to be true.Final thoughts: It's a nice candle (with a great scent) that I purchased while on sale, and would probably only purchase again during a similar sale.

The dusty pink is more of a darker peach or almost coral color, if you’re wanting a baby pink accent like the product picture this might not fit exactly! :)

Beautiful, quality design. Looks hand-crafted! The scents were amazing, both together and separately, and the container will be perfect for a little cactus or herb family, zen/sand tray, snack dish or jewelry/nick-nack tray!

My daughter and I found this beautiful candle at Whole Foods and didn’t wind up buying it that day. I decided it actually would make a perfect Christmas present for my daughter so I immediately hopped on to Amazon to sneakily order it in without her knowing! Packed and delivered with care, it’s a gorgeous huge candle with two beautiful scents and it burned for ages..she was so happy!! Would definitely recommend, 10 out of 10!!
