VetGood Oversized Basic Waterproof & Breathable Dog Boot - to Protect Leg Bandages (Large)

These have been total lifesavers for us! Our Greyhound injured her front paw and needed stitches, and the next week needed several masses removed from her back paw. These covers have helped so much during her recovery, and are very easy to use! The company was great, and shipping was fast!Our 70lb Greyhound is wearing the Large size, and it's a bit big on her, but adjusts down to fit fairly well. (Her legs are skinny.) If you need this to cover an actual cast, it should fit perfectly. If you are only using it to cover thinner bandages, you may want to size down so it fits a little more snug.

My dog has a chronic wound for which we have to see a specialist. He's a magician when it comes to covers - he could work through everything we put on him/over the wrap. We tried every type of cones, covers, even taped on socks! The strategically placed Velcro and drawstring at the top has been impenetrable for him! So happy we are ordering more, just to be able to switch out for cleaning.

This product was not waterproof. This was just used when the dog went outside to the bathroom in the grass and the splint was wet after only 5 minutes. The bottom had good grip and was tough to prevent wear on the bottom of the splint. However the main purpose of buying this was to keep the splint dry, which was disappointing since it’s supposed to be waterproof.

we live in Cancun and my dog had a broken bone on its paw but had a whole leg in a thick soft cast but had the very tip of the cast open so it could breath... it was rainy season with inches of water in the yard for a month... very hard to keep the cast dry... plastic bags and rubber bands didn't work because her nails would punch threw and it would get wet and another trip to the vet to get a new soft cast (so had to put sets of thick socks on her then a bag then another sock to hold the bag on and changing multiple times a day...this boot worked great and she was fine with having me put on daily (it allowed her to spend the day outside on patio sofa out of the rain and go to the bathroom when she needed - which made he a much happier dog than sitting the the villa out of the action.) We even used the boot days when it was dry because she stopped fussing or chewing with the cast when the boot was on - even the vet was impressed...

This is fantastic. My dog was supposed to keep stitches in her paw for 2 weeks. While she often held her paw in the air due to the bandages protecting it, it was bulky and difficult to keep protected. This boot stayed on her foot even with her running. The Velcro helps keep it on the paw/leg. It also kept her dry in the snow.

My daughter’s female Border Collie broke her leg and had to be splinted twice over a 4 month time period. This cover was well worth the money and prevented a lot of frustration. The first few days I was having to use a ziplock bag and a rubber band to keep her splint from becoming dirty and wet. The cover is very durable, well constructed, and made from excellent material. After 4 moths of continuous daily use, all it needs to look new is a little soap and water. It fit very well for our dog’s size which is about 24 inches in height and approximately 35lbs.

The bottom got slightly damp in deep snow. Otherwise it works really well. The adjustable velcro and string at the top works well and is necessary as swelling reduces after surgery and bandages are removed. Love having a reusable cover and not having to replace a plastic bag all the time!

The velcro straps get extremely filled with lint is a short period of time. They should provide a velcro brush for that kind of money. Otherwise, it fits great....I have a Kerry Blue Terrier....about the same size as a Wheaten Terrier or Standard Schnauzer. He is 18" at the withers. The small fits perfectly.
