What does the indicator light mean?

LED indicator lights clearly indicate the charging status in front of the screen. Blue light states that the PS4 controller has been completed charging or in standby status, and red light means that the Playstation 4 controllers is in charging status.

Can this be mounted on the wall?

There is no spot on the charging base to mount it. You could possibly DIY it the controllers would stay in the dock if so.

Will this dock overcharge my controllers if they are left plugged in?

If the controllers are above a certain charge, the dock stops charging them. You can tell when this is the case because the light on the front changes from red to blue. I’ve been using the charger for about 8 months now and I’d recommend it.
