Audix DCLAMP Drum Tension Rod-mounted Gooseneck Microphone Mount for Mounting Audix Drum Mics

Well made and thought out, clamp however could be a little wider to fit on unused tom arm? fraction too small.(DW) arm, had to make a reducer , hoped would go straight on , Audix gear and mics are great, just needed a little bit more thought on this.

Yo la verdad es que lo veo un poco endeble, yo lo utilizo para una conga, y con los golpes se mueve si el mástil está muy subido del punto de agarre. Le tengo que poner una brida o cualquier otro remedio. Es cierto que utilizo un akg p4 que suelen pesar, quizás que lo suyo es ponerle otro tipo de micrófono - megadireccional.

Es muy resistente y puede casi cualquier tipo de microfono

I ordered this thing thinking it might work well for attaching a kick drum mic to the rim of the drum. Unfortunately, the gooseneck is small diameter and isn't stiff enough to come from the side due to the weight of the large kick drum mic and it isn't long enough to really hang it from above. I think it would work great for any other lighter-duty application (tom, snare), so I'll find another use for it. Also, the clamp is made of plastic, so I'm not sure what the long-term durability would be like if it were to get installed and removed a lot - probably better suited for the studio than the road. Only gave it four stars because it didn't work for my application.
