Ordered in the frosted glass. There were so few reviews for these when I made my purchase, I wasn’t sure what I would end up with… especially after I spied other listings for what appeared to be the identical set for nearly 2x the price. I worried these would end up an inferior rip off. I also dread ordering breakable items as I have bad luck in that dept, far too often opening a box full of shattered glass. So when these arrived in pristine condition, packaged beautifully and looking simply delightful, it was a huge relief. I purchased this set not for use as intended— so cannot vouch how these perform for sake, though I imagine it’s quite ideal—rather we use the cups to hold caviar/spoons, the ice container for a shrimp cocktail, and the sake vessel for chilled vodka. Unorthodox, probably, but it’s a fabulous yet convenient/small footprint for serving on our super tiny dining table. Of course we hand wash them but they are thick, smooth, unblemished, and with basic care I anticipate using them for years to come. Lovely example of something that looks so delicate but is actually quite hardy. Lastly, I appreciate that each piece can just slip right back into the original custom packaging, making for easy and secure storage at the back of a cupboard. One of my favorite Amazon purchases in ages!! Fantastic quality vs price.

Good value set. The cups are sturdy, look nice and high quality. The tokkuri is a little cheaper looking than the cups but still nice looking. Overall I am very pleased with the price to quality ratio

Ordered for a Christmas gift. Looked great and is good quality. All items arrived packaged securely and there was no broken glass. I’d order again if I needed this for another gift.

Makes a beautiful gift for any sake enthusiast. The packaging is very eye catching and this set is very unique.From the etched glass to the gilded golden edges this set is deliberately detailed. There are a lot of ceramic sake sets around. I like this glass one because it does chill sake quickly when put on ice. It might be a bit difficult to hold hot sake but hot sake should be tepid at best. Highly recommend!
