Ezelia High Pressure Shower Head (Chrome)

The shower head has survived an entire year of service in a college dorm in a shared bathroom with like 50-100 people on the floor and working on its second year!

Bought to replace a broken item similar to this one. I have two shower heads in my shower on opposite sides. On one side, I have a very basic head with a valve to shut off flow. On the other, I like to have a unit like this. One problem with my old unit was that it did not have the valve to be able to shut it off. My kids get the water stream straight to the face so they were constantly turning it to face the wall. I wanted to make sure I got one with a shut off option, which this has.PROS:The item is very easy to install (in my case without tools). I hand-tightened and had no leaking.The hose is very flexible (not stiff at all) so it moves around nicely.There were extra O-rings in the box.The low flow regulator was in a separate bag, and was labelled.Once installed, the flow was great. "Off position" works as intended.Overall feel is very nice, without the flow restrictor, and was an improvement from the one I had.The "holder" piece pivots nicely to angle the water flow.CONS:It's very lightweight plastic - there's no 'heft' to it at all, and I feel like over time it will probably get broken. The connections are all very light plastic with the "chrome" coating.The "holder" is very loose. When you place the head into the holder, it just sits in there loosely, so I'm sure it's just a matter of time before it gets knocked out and falls.The installation was very straight-forward, not sure why other reviews had an issue. Took the pieces out of the box, removed the plastic protective covers from the ends of the hose, saw the O-rings in position in the ends of the tube. Simply removed my old head, hose, and holder, and started with some teflon tape on the pipe end. Attached the new holder and put in the correct position. Attached the hose to the holder (hand tightened) and then attached the shower head to the other end of the hose. I did not use teflon tape on either ends of the hose connections (only the holder to the metal pipe). That was it, once the old head was removed, it took about 10 minutes if that to install the new components.Overall, it seems like a good buy. At this price point I didn't expect a ROHL or Hansgrohe. If anything happens with durability or longevity, I will update. But so far, it's a great replacement item and works nicely for my needs.UPDATE - July 14, 2022 - I've updated this to 5 stars (formerly 4). I thought the lightweight nature of the construction of this would be something to consider, but after using it for nearly 10 weeks, it's been perfect. No leaks, all the settings function well, and hasn't fallen out of the holder. If anything changes, I'll update.UPDATE 2 - July 17, 2023 - It's been a year already???? Well, I'm happy to report that this is still going strong with no issues at all. No breaks, leaks, or anything. I feel like I'm winning!!

Although initially I liked the shower head. We have hard water and it started to clog right away. You get what you pay for. If you have really clean water it probably works good but it clogged up right away so I threw it out.

It's almost all lightweight plastic. Attractive, good enough for light use, and who knows? Maybe it will last. The small piece that contains the ball joint feels fragile. I had to tighten it a lot, on both ends, to keep it from leaking. (To be honest, it doesn't matter much if it leaks down into the shower drain while it's running.) But I'm stubborn, and I was determined to tighten it until it stopped leaking. While tightening it, I held my breath, fearing that it might crack. In the end, it did not crack. It did get scratched a little. Now it's working fine. We'll see how long it lasts.I was hoping that maybe my water pressure would improve, as some other reviewers experienced, but no such luck. My water pressure has always been weak, and it still is. Maybe my pressure issues originate in the valve or in the pipes. I don't blame the shower head for not magically fixing those issues.If you pay $13 as I did, it's the absolute cheapest handheld shower on Amazon. In its price category, I guess it gets 5 stars, because there's nothing else this cheap. It's new, it works, with no obvious flaws other than cheap materials. But at its full price of $40, I would choose a name brand with a lifetime guarantee. So I guess it gets either 5 or 3 stars depending on the price. I'll split the difference and give it 4 stars.

I’m very pleased with this shower head. Can’t review all the settings because I’ve been happy with the “rain” one. I thought I might need to use the water restrictor after it filled my bathtub the first time. Then I realized I could just barely turn the water on and get an excellent flow. Saving water! I’m not technically proficient at all, and I had no trouble installing this shower head. One tip, the instructions don’t seem to mention that the plugs in the hose part unscrew; I was trying to pry them out.

This shower head is lightweight and I was pleasantly surprised that this is a very attractive nice shower head. it's easy to use, it has a long hose that is quite fluid - it moves well, it's not stiff. It has three or four settings including turning the water off while it's still on at the faucet, which I like a lot. It is lightweight and easy to use. I found it easy to install, but for me I did have to go buy a wrench to remove the existing shower head that someone had tightened too much and which only had a thin area to grip. In my experience previously, most shower heads are quite easy to remove. This one does not require any additional hardware. We really love it. And it comes with a little insert if you want to do the low flow shower option. Definitely worth the small asking price.

if you are looking for stainless steel it is not this product. It is plastic but it looks very nice and easy to install... love it.. I liked the first one so much I bought a second one for my shower.. if it leaks take the little screen seal out and put in one of the extra seals and use the tape that comes with it... I absolutely recommend this product...

I had a regular shower head in my shower. I changed it to this one and the water pressure was so much stronger. If you like high water pressure when showering I would definitely recommend. The only thing I noticed was on the description it said you could turn the knob on the shower head itself where no water would come through. On both the ones I got water would still come through. Still a great product though.
