Does not flare up if a hot coal falls on it.
My title to this product is all about what I said in the review title. It doesn’t flare up when a hot coal happens to fall on it. I’m not saying it’s perfect but the burning ember doesn’t cause a fire in my home. It will melt the carpet but not much of a risk for a house fire. I recommend this product.

Looks good in front of my wood stove.
This fire resistant mat looks nice in front of my wood stove and gives the cat and dog a place to lie in the winter when they want to get warmer. Unfortunately, my cat has already picked the material, which is to be expected with most mats and couches. It serves it's purpose but I think it is over-priced.

not at all satisfied the size that is posted is NOT the size shipped
Very disappointed with the product the info about the size does not match with the item and I am still waiting for my refund from August 19 2022.
