Reamer worked perfect. Great tool, good price. Saved me from programming the taper in our software, and running on the CNC mill. Turned a potential hour job into a few minutes.

Reamer works great. This is the reamer needed for Chevy 1 ton tie rod ends. Run it half the speed you would for a drill bit of the same size and keep oil on it. For best tool life use an oil about the consistency of a heavy weight motor oil. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because it took longer than expected to ship.

Taper is good qaulity, cut quickly and stayed sharp for all 3 holes. I used it to enlarge the steering knuckle tierod and pitman arm holes on a 99' dodge 3500 to upgrade to the heavier duty 09' moog tierod assembly. This bit has the proper 1.5" per foot or 7° taper . Be sure not to ream the full depth of the new tierod, so there's some meat left to pull up and seat against the taper properly when tightened, and the nut doesn't tighten to far below the cotter pin hole. I left .125" exposed of the tierod and after tightening it pulled nearly all of it up into the hole. It lined up just right for the cotter pin holes with the castle nut openings.

Worked well but this bit is super expensive. Assuming it will last a long time. Cut through a hardened pitman arm easily.

Works great for reaming steering knuckles for 1 ton tie rods, US made too

Reamed out my ballpoint adapters in no time flat. I am well pleased with results for the low price.
