This book does an excellent job of taking makers (I'm a quilter) through the basics of color theory. Everything is laid out with bolded key words, lots of pictures, and an end-of-book index for easy reference. IMO, the most valuable parts of each chapter, however, are the "Practice + Play" sections, which encourage readers to apply the concepts to the medium(s) they work in. I consider myself comfortable developing palettes, but those P+P prompts are what will help propel me to grow!
