TimberlandMen's Mt. Maddsen Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot

I was looking for a light weight boot I could wear while doing work out in the fields. I needed something with full leather to help protect against snake bites but not be heavy. These fit well. My heel is comfortable and secure. There seems to be more room in the foot area but I don’t move around in them. They fit true to size for Timberlands. They are quite aggressive on the bottom and should give great tractions. But the weight is the greatest part. My 6 inch Timberlands weigh 2lbs 1.4 ounces per boot. These weigh 1lb 1.1 ounces per boot. Exactly what I wanted. If you are looking for a light weight, stylish boot, then these are a very good option.

Got these Timberland's for my 23 year old son who went to Iceland with friends. They just got back today, and these boots were perfect. He said they did grueling hikes, up rocks and rough terrain, crossed streams, saw the tallest waterfall in Iceland. Went through all kinds of weather including sunny days in 60's and rainy days in mountainous terrain and much colder. He said they were great right out of the box, like putting on sneakers. Stayed comfortable the whole time, and 100% waterproof. He had a good pair of hiking socks which fit nicely into an accurate fit for his shoe size. His two friends did not do as well, paid way more for other hiking boots and both ended up with blisters! And btw, these boots still look great and nearly brand new! Got the Grey Nubuck, nice color. I was expecting shoes to be totaled, but they still are very good, no water stains at all! Very happy with this purchase!

Very comfortable and very light weight. Some people say they are 2 pounds in total weight, but honestly it doesn't feel that way verryyy light. Good ankle support. Wore them for 1st time yesterday at work and the grip on the soles are amazing. I was Skeptical at first but once I got it, I realized it was the perfect purchase

I work in an ice rink so my feet can get cold and wet all the time however, these boots are great at keeping my feet warm and dry. They are also very comfortable and fit great as I have a wide foot.Would 100% recommend these boots to anyone.One month update: Not too happy about laces as they are already fraying and one of the tips just failed after one month of wearing 3-4 times a week.## Downgrade from Five stars to Four stars ##

These are very sharp looking comfy and durable as you would expect from timberland the size was perfect and they are super light for the durability

I recently purchased the Timberland Men's Anti-Fatigue Hiking Waterproof Leather Boots and I am impressed. The comfort provided by the anti-fatigue technology is like wearing a pair of comfortable shoes, making long hikes much easier on my feet. These boots are truly waterproof, keeping my feet dry, even during heavy rain, and through shallow streams. The leather is both durable and stylish, I now wear these boots on a daily basis more than my usual Black Reebok Classics because of the comfort. It really is a fantastic investment for anyone needing reliable, comfortable hiking boots, or if you just want a nice pair of boots this is one I would recommend.

I have hiked close to 100 miles so far with these boots and i must say that they are the lightest and comfortable boot i have bought…It took a week to break in and now they are amazing…I have had to waterproof them again, and this was my fault due to a ton of water i stepped in while hiking during the early spring here in Utah…This pic was from the high Uintas where i backpacked 14 miles in for some awesome fishing and seclusion…They performed amazing…I hike where most people wont go…:) Highly recommend these boots…:)

MY husband has always been a combat boot / Doc Martin kinda guy, but he needed hiking boots for out trip to Scotland. He LOVES these and wears them more than his Docs now! They looks so good, and he says they're very comfortable and loves that they're waterproof.

I waited a bit before reviewing so I had a chance to properly test it. This is the most comfortable hiking boot I have owned. I even will just wear them when walking the dog around the neighborhood because they are more comfortable than my sneakers and have way more traction on gravel/dirt. Very happy with my purchase, especially considering the price point.EDIT - DECEMBER 31, 2023: I had the chance to take these boots with me for a European tour and they continue to impress. Used them for walking miles on the cobblestone streets and climbing up to the ruins of castles on the side of mountains. They worked great. So comfortable I didn't mind using them as my every day footwear for three weeks. My feet never hurt and they provided good traction on the trails and stones covered in snow.
