PEGGY11 Stainless Steel Slow Feeder Dog Bowl - Holds 5 Cups, for Large Size Dogs

I bought this dog bowl to replace an older one that no longer had a "floor grabber". My dogs completely shredded it. This one advertised that the silicone bottom would last longer than the usual rubber found on these grabber bowls. So far, so good. The bowl doesn't slide around on the floor which is what I was looking for. It seems very sturdy and should last a long time. However, it only hold about 1 cup of dry food. For me, that's okay as my dog gets 1 cup of food twice a day. You could probably add 1 1/2 of dry food but anything more would spill over the sides. This bowl washes easily so it's perfect for my needs. I would definitely buy it again in a couple of years if this one wears out. The "fast eater" insert is great if your dog inhales their food which could cause stomach upsets and vomiting. All-in-all I give this bowl an A+!

It’s huge and I like how sturdy it is with my big dog. She likes to chew on things so this is best.

I will start by saying this is a nice little bowl and the rubber on the bottom does help to keep my dog from being able to slide it around as much. We have a lab puppy and unfortunately she eats very quickly. I bought this bowl hoping it would slow her down. Unfortunately, she still eats as fast but now it's in a circle around the bowl.🤦‍♀️ I'm hoping as she grows her face will become too big to fit her nose down in the small space and she will have to eat slower. I'm giving 4 starts because it really is a nice bowl and I have hopes it will do it's job as she gets bigger.

These bowls work GREAT! Really slowed my Beagle's down. And they're very easy to wash with my arthritic hands!!

This bowl does just what we needed. It holds just the right amount--our dog gets 1.5 cups of feed at each meal--and it slows him down without smooshing his nose into tiny crevices like the "puzzle bowls" do. It's sturdy, the stainless steel is easy to clean, and the rubber gasket keeps it from running away from him while he eats. Perfect!

Unfortunately, this did not work for our pup. She is a 10 yr old Staffy and very food motivated. This did not slow her down at all, so am returning it and going back to the old bowl for now

Bought this for my 45 lb rescue mix (short hair dog). She had become a gulper that would finish the 1 cup of food in about 30 seconds then puke it up later. Tried a plastic "maze" type but it proved too slow,frustrated the dog and was a mess because the maze was so small and deep. This stainless bowl holds about 1 1/2C of dry food. We feed 1 Cup twice a day and add a small amount of water (1/4C) and this works perfect. Sturdy one piece stainless bowl with non-skid base. Read reviews about food getting trapped at the edge of the rubber non-skid base. Have not had this issue in a month now. She eats and we pick up the bowl and it's good to go later that day. It will solve the problem of a too fast eater.
