Hair.
So, i got these for my hair.Im trying to grow out my hair and i got the idea to braid my hair and wrap the ends of the larger braids into the ribbons to keep the ends moisturized and from breaking off. Then i wrap the large braids into a bun to the best of my abilities (my abilities arent that great)Then i use a ribbon that i left long on one braid to tie them all together and hold them secure in that bun. But i kept messing up the braid when i used my fingers. I DO crochet, but the blunt tipped large eye needles i had were made of plastic, and im clumsy so they all broke, or got lost, or were accidentally thrown away as they were in the contents of a hunk drawer. The eye is large beough for me to pull a ribbon through and the tips are blunt enough that i wont stab myself pulling the bun together. Its an old school technique that i prefer because bobby pins are hella uncomfy. I will buy again when i have a mighty need 🙂

This is just what you need
These needles work great. They come in assorted sizes. They have reasonably large eyes. They are smooth. They are blunt. They do the job they are supposed to do.The best part is the etui. That's French for "little needle case". If you hang out at the knitting store, you need to have some nice accessories and this is a good one. When you finally bind off and you are ready to hide the tail end of the yarn, you want to pull a nice needle case out of your bag. Calmly open it, select the perfect needle, and handle the situation like the professional you are. This is the kind of thing that gives you confidence in the knitting store, even if you are still working on your first stocking cap, and everybody else has moved on to clever capes and shawls. Just do the best you can and carry some nice needles around, and everybody will admire your project and give you encouragement. The resulting self-confidence will lure you back to the knitting store over and over, and the satisfaction you get from these positive interactions will spill over into other aspects of your life, and in no time, you will be facing the world with new-found courage and profound competence. Trust me on this, and buy the needles.

Sturdy & easy to thread
I prefer using metal large eyed needles over plastic for seaming knits & crocheted items.

Just what the crochet-er needs
I love to crochet, and as part of that, I must used large eyed needles to sew in yarn ends sometimes when the piece requires. I'd much rather pay someone else to do it because I hate finagling with needles, but alas. I got this set when I managed to lose my one last blunt needle. This set has been great! Three different sizes are helpful for different yarn sizes and different amounts of working space for the shaft of the needle to feed through. The needles themselves I have no complaints about, but since they are a "set" I feel the need to comment on the handy carrying container. It is plastic that could easily crack, and the stopper-style lid is again cheap plastic that I look forward to searching for on the floor sometime in my future as it isn't a tight seal. But, container aside, great set of needles.

Nice sized eyes, great carrying case.. a Must have for any Crafter!
These are great needles. I use them for my knitting and crocheting projects. The various sizes makes it a snap when I need to weave long or short ends into my projects. The eyes on the smallest needle are still generous enough to allow for threading of my yarn through it, though it does take a little bit of effort to thread it. I have lost a few needles, so the case is super handy and portable in my project bag. Keeps the needles in one place when I take my projects on the go.A little treading trick I learned years ago, which makes it easier to thread the smallest needle, is to fold the yarn over the eye, pull it tight then slip the needle out, then thread the eye with the folded yarn. Works with ease nearly every time.Overall if you are a crafter, these are needles you must have in your tool kit.
